Interlude

[3rd POV]

His broken body finally fell after standing strong for so long. She opened her arms and caught him before he hit the floor.

His face was buried in her chest as his limp body leaned on her, he was heavy. She slowly lowered herself on the floor.

She pulled him close and tight to her chest, her skin desperately searched for his pulse and heartbeat for reassurance. She sat down on the floor, his head on her thighs while the rest of his body sprawled.

His blood smeared her clean clothes yet she did not care, she grabbed him tight and pulled him close. She was no fighter, she was not strong, yet she was ready to fight anything at that moment.

Huge droplets of tears fell down her red eyes and a sniffle choked her.

"Why do I always have to meet you like this?" She asked. Was this a way for him to punish her? To take revenge for what she did?

Please stop.

She checked his body carefully and although she was no doctor, she had been around enough fighters to know that Yuito was in a really bad condition.

On closer inspection of his body, it was a miracle how he was able to stand and ready to fight a moment ago. His injuries would have put most people into a coma.

"Calm down President, I will-" Nomen tried to take Yuito away but froze when she threw him a venomous look. No word was needed. Stay the fuck away.

She held him tight to her chest but not too tightly in fear of extinguishing his shallow breath. She ran her hands all over his body, trying to soothe his painful wounds and bruises any way she can.

 Even just a little.

"Take them away." Tsukimi said without tearing her eyes off Yuito. Nomen and Shiba Inu knew what she wanted and carried the fallen executives along with Vivi and Xialung away.

As everyone else disappeared from the place, Tsukimi was left with Yuito's unconscious body and the small protagonist of lookism.

"Daniel, who did he fight?" Tsukimi asked Daniel who was slumped on the floor. This was not their first encounter and they knew each other.

Daniel was broken out of his reverie and after a moment of hesitation, he spoke, "My other body...it was drugged and started moving on its own."

"So he fought that thing." and won.

Tsukimi pushed away the strands of hair on Yuito's face and amidst her worried face, an expression of admiration became visible.

She first learned that some people had two bodies in her investigation of Charles Choi and Gun. She was obsessed with taking revenge so she did thorough research on them and their possible weakness.

Crystal Choi, the daughter of Charles Choi and the reason why Yuito and Gun got into a conflict in the first place. As she was investigating her, Tsukimi found out that she had two bodies.

It was her first introduction to the supernatural world.

Later on, when she met with Daniel Park, it was not hard for her to find out that he too had two bodies just like Crystal Choi. They even had some trouble and interaction because of it but Tsukimi kept him on friendly terms because she did not want to make an enemy of the supernatural.

So she also knew that Daniel Park's other body was extremely strong and it even managed to win against Gun. But now Yuito was able to win against that thing.

So she couldn't help but admire him.

'He'll be fine.' She told herself.

He was strong.

A little while later, Nomen returned and Tsukimi finally allowed him to pick up Yuito's unconscious body so that they could bring him back to the Second Affiliate.

And before the police rushed into the building, they left Vivi Hotel and returned.

When they reached the Second Affiliate, they were immediately greeted by groups of doctors and Yuito, Xialung along with other executives were taken into intensive care. These doctors were the ones they hired for their illegal game 'Circus' so they were all experts at treating injuries, especially ones obtained from fighting.

Tsukimi stayed close to Yuito at all times and was worried out of her wits. She did not get a wink of sleep during the two days that Yuito slept.

How could she? Doctors analysis and the scans showed that Yuito was in a worse condition than he looked.

She finally met him again, and she was happy. But if he was going to be in such a condition every time they met, she would rather they never meet again.

Two days passed and although she tried her very best, she couldn't keep them a secret forever.

The Head Chairman of the Workers finally came to the Second Affiliate.

[3rd POV]

"Is he alright?" Marin asked in a tone of rare worry.

Sumire paused for a long time and hesitated before she said, "I think so. He got into a fight again and said he was injured but he will be fine."

"A fight? Really? His match is so close though." Marin said.

"I am worried."

Sumire released a sigh. She wondered if she should just disregard his son's concern as he did hers and go to Korea to meet him.

But in the end, she decided to trust him and wait and see exactly what was going on.

"Komi, put up some Korean news in the TV for us." Sumire said and Komi did as she was told with a nod.

They all went to the living room and sat on the couch and watched the Korean channels. They waited some time but soon enough, there was an emergency news.

(A gang war broke out in the famous Vivi hotel and the whole city block is in chaos. The Korean Police immediately took action and put the street under heavy control and all roads leading to the streets are blocked and monitored. The police had also found multiple corpses of unknown origin in the hotel. Their faces were heavily scarred and there is also evidence of a huge fight taking place everywhere in the Hotel, especially the hidden top floor.)

"Oh my god." Marin said and put her hands in her mouth in absolute disbelief.

The other girls also became solemn as they watched the news carefully. They wondered exactly what Yuito's role in all of these was and they hated the fact that he was not telling everything to them.

That needed to change.

(On another note, there has been a supernatural sighting while the gang war took place. Video footage was captured of a man falling from the top of the Hotel building only for the man to grow wings like an angel and fly back up. After a thorough check-up from he experts, the video was proven to be unedited and there was also multiple CCTV footage caught of the same sight.)

The TV switched to the said video footage and as the girls watched on, they saw a man crash out from the window of the highest floor of Vivi's hotel.

There was no clear details shown but the girls felt a chill run down thier spine. They could tell exactly who this person was.

"YUITO!!!" x4

They held their breath as Yuito continued falling and just when the girls had a heart attack and Yuito crashed on the road his wings came out of his back and with a powerful flap that created a visible shockwave, he shot back up to the top of the building.

Marin who stood up in surprise fell back down on the couch with her hand holding her chest.

'That bastard." She cursed with teary eyes.

(The video had gone viral instantly and people are calling it the fallen angel of Gangnam. Questions have arisen in front of the public, accusing the police force and the government that they were hiding the supernatural from them. Many stories had started emerging on Reddit and other platforms on the internet, retelling their experience meeting the supernatural, be it a werewolf or other supernatural species.)

(Seoul is in a state of chaos and the public is afraid. The officials are doing everything they can to keep things under control but there are too many question on the people's mind. What arethe identities of the corpses found? What gangs participated in this war? Is the fallen angel real? etc.)

"Things are not looking good." Sumire said as she turned off the TV. Marin and Komi were already on their phone surfing the internet while Kurumi was in an odd silence and seemed to be deep in thought.

Thier man was truly a troublesome one.

Whatever happens.
