Developping Constitution

At the end of the cave was a cavity where I could see some light. The light came from a hole in the ceiling. There we could see the sun and the moon. Beneath the hole was a small altar. Within it was a little pond of shinning water.

I looked at it with shining eyes. I forced myself to calm down as it would just produce nefast effects if I was too excited.

The wolves led us inside the cave and I could see more clearly the water inside the pond. There were little specks of light being reflected on the water. The Star Shining water was extremely clear and pure inducing a feeling of profoundness and purity.

'You can take a sip but nothing else. Before drinking the water, be prepared to swear the Blood Oath.' Ellena said.

We both cut open our finger and presented a drop of blood.

'Repeat after me : I swear on my Dao and Soul that I will uphold my promise. I won't spread any informations willingly and unwillingly to persons outside this room. I also won't have any ill intent concerning the Star Shining water and us, Ellena, Elyo and our children.' She uttered in a profound voice. I could sense the link between her and me, created from a filament of Qi, tremble.

I took the first step and said the oath out loud. A loud rumble was heard. As if lightning was decending, I could see the sky brightening a bit through the hole in the ceiling before reverting to its initial luminosity.

Before I could focus myself on Zoe and her Oath, I sensed a surge in my drop of blood. I looked over and faintly saw some filaments form a kind of seal on my blood drop. The filaments were golden and came from the entire world. It was an amalgam of every Qi possible in our world. I was fascinated and just after the seal was laid on my blood drop, it spread, I don't know how, to my body, blood and soul. It bound my Qi Core, my heart and my Soul Sea.

'ISHHH, It's way too dangerous, I should be extremely carefull regarding Oath from now on.' I was a bit afraid after seeing the power of a Blood Oath. I didn't want to lose all my cultivation, hard work, efforts and chance to be the True Son of God, just because of some Oath made to heaven through my blood. Even more the moment I did a Blood Oath, I was restrained in my actions. Even if it was acceptable for some situation, I couldn't predict the future. If Ellena and Elyo decided to start a fight with us, we would only be able to defend without inflicting any real damage to them. Just because of this Oath. I had to be extremely carefull from now on as it could become a life and death issue if not thought carefully.

Afterwards I advanced before the pond and looked at the Star Shining water. "Can I not take it now but stay in the room for the next 4 weeks. So that I can study it ? You see I'm also a Arrays master and I can understand formations and other mysteries of the world. If you let me study the water, I can let you benefit from my knwoledge after I've done some discoveries. What do you think ?" I explained.

'What kind of discoveries do you think you can make ?' Asked Ellena.

"I'm thinking of creating a new array diverted from an idea I had. I plan to create an array which can absorb the Stars Qi in the atmosphere and make it fill the room. It'll be easier for you to cultivate the path of stars if you want to and the concentration of Stars Shining water will gradually increase. By understanding this array I can slowly open the door to the gathering and sealing of a space, allowing the ambiant Qi to be gathered from the atmosphere to a specific location. Then the sealing part would help me focus the Qi in the location and prevent it from going away. If I can understand all of this I can create an Array for you here. So what do you think ?" I said. The more I talked the more excited I was.

'Hmm, It's a good deal but the Star Shining water is something we offered you as a thank you for your past and futur help. It's a mean of sealing our relationship. We accept that you study the Star Shining water during these 4 weeks but we want you to take the sip from the pond, If you want to keep it in another form for your study we can make an exception. But it has to be the size of a mouthfull.' Ellena said calmly after pondering for several seconds.

I could see their sincerity, therefore I became happy and I agreed readily. I decided that I would use a contenant to transport the Stars Shining Water as it could help me not only with my Qi Cultivation but with the Body and Soul Cultivation too. By increasing my knowledge of Soul and Body cultivation, I would increase the effects the Stars Shining Water would have on me. I would know where I could channel all this Stars Qi, with which other Qi I could fuse it, How I could use it to improve my soul,etc... Zoe and me approached the pond and I stopped, watching her every moves. She removed her silver hairs from her face and took a gulp of the Star Shining Water.

She sat down 3 meters away and began to meditate. She quickly lost control as I could see pain and horror on her face.

"Is it normal ? Can you please help her ?" I asked the two wolves anxiously.

'Don't worry, she may be in pain but it's because she is fighting it when she shouldn't. Her body is extremely mysterious, I can only find similarities between it and Elyo's body. She is fighting because she probably already has an idea of what she want to fuse the Stars Qi with. But her body doesn't want to, it want to complete itslelf and the Stars Qi is the perfect material for it to fully awaken.' Ellena told me.

'I already told her to calm down and to let the Stars Qi and her body do all the hard work. All she had to do is wisthand the pain and pressure. As the Stars Qi is filling her body without her being in the 2nd stage of Qi cutivation, she can't have Qi of her own. The body is trying to fuse with the Stars Qi to bypass this rule, she is basically doing body cultivation. It's the most complex, yet the easiest way to do it.When your body takes control and do everything for you. It's quickly rearranging each of her cell's body to incorporate Stars Qi within, resulting in a lot of pressure being put on her soul. Fortunetally she is extremely compatible with this Qi, had it been a Qi less neutral like a demonic, celestial, poisonous,etc... Qi, she would have died in a explosion.' She explained to me. I was dumbfounded and couldn't help but nearly shout.

"Couldn't you tell us earlier ? She could have died, you know !!"

'Yes of course I could have say it but I thought you knew it. After all do you often see natural silver hair and blue eyes ? Knowing her body was so special, I thought it would be a good idea to help her through the Stars Shining Water. That was one of the reason we decided to give you this reward instead of anothe. And seeing you readily accept the Stars SHining Water I thought you understood why we offered it.' Ellena repplied shortly after.

I could see the horror disapear from the face of Zoe, replaced by infaillible determination.

Her body began to shine as she slowly levitated. She was vertical with her arms spread appart. Her eyes closed and a look of pain and determination. She shined like a goddess and I couldn't help but be secretely proud of myself. 'Hahaha, when the other men see me with this gorgeous woman, they may have a heart attack from anger and jealousy.' I smiled as I saw the pain slowly subside.

There I could see veins of light under her skin. I could see the blood traveling in her body and her heart pumping. She was nearly transluscent at this point.

After ten minutes levitating Zoe slowly descended and retook her lotus position as she stopped shining.

'Let her focus. She needs to readapt to her body, discover what changed and what benefits she received from the Stars Shining water. As I said before she has a special body, I don't know how it will turn but it should be a grand occasion and opportunity for her. Few humans with special constitutions can awaken them.' Ellena said.

The more she talked the more I understood who was the boss in the familly.

Even though, it was Elyo who was the King of the forest, she was the most knowledgeable. Well, that's what I thought since she was the one talking, so if it just turned out to be because Elyo was just lazy, I would lose a bit of face, wouldn't I ?

"What do you know about these constitutions ?" I aked her as I knew nothing about them. I knew what I read in eastern novels but is it really reliable ? No clearly not. It's pure fiction. But our world isn't, and the rules of this world can be totally different from what I thought it could be. If I based my knowledge on false informations, everything would be false or at least not complete resulting in a lot of problems and possible dangers. I can't risk something like that for Zoe.

'Well, I don't know a lot. I just know that some humans have special body after coming to this world. I saw some humans in the outskirt of the forest having special hairs and eyes. It indicate that they have special constitutions. The challenging part isn't to have a Constitution but to fully awaken it. It requires precious resources. These resources should be easy to absorb and be in correlation with the cosntitution itself. Exemple : If you have te body of a snake, souple and immune to poison to a certain extent, don't take ressources full of Metal Qi. It's a known fact that Metal Qi is one of the sharpest Qi in the world. It won't be of any help for a man who has poison imunity and a certain flexibility. She also require time. Time to adapt and discover what are the specificities of her body. From what you just told me she doesn't know that she has a constitution. It's the perfect time for her to learn how to use it and what is her affinity.' She said.

'Super, it doesn't really help me...' I thougth a little bit exasperate.

Since I just had to wait for Zoe to wake up from her meditative state, I decided to begin my study of the Stars Shining water. I circled around and watched the pond and the hole in the ceiling. Seeing as I couldn't see many thing, I tried something new. I injected Array Qi in my eyes. Knowing that Array Qi wasn't destructive even with a killing intent, I knew I was out of harm's way.

At first I couldn't see anything, my vision turned totally black. I panicked and expelled all the Qi inside my eyes. My vision returned and I didn't perceived any discomfort or pain in my eyes. Yes I know that Array Qi isn't destructive in any way I couldn't help but be afraid at the thought of turning blind. Perplexed and a bit anxious I tried to do it again and it resulted in me losing my sight again.

I was sure I had found something there, a Technique or Art which could be really usefull in the future. I sat down 10 meters away from Zoe and tried again.

After numerous tries I could see a little light in the constant darkness. literally, when I circulated my Array Qi in a certain patern inside my eyes, I could see a light faintly. It wasn't much but it proves that my idea had potential. I just needed to improve it.

I percevered and 4 days passed, I could now see around me for some ten meters away. It was a bit faint but I could see just fine. The problem is that even thoough I could see a part of the natural formations drawing Stars Qi inside the cave, it was just that. A part of the formation. I had the impression that I was an ant on top of an elephant trying to understand what was an elephant through my little vision. I had just 4 pieces and I needed to reconstruct the whole puzzle through these 4 pieces. It was extremely baffling. I got up and expelled the Qi inside my eyes. I walked out of the cave and searched for Ellena and Elyo.

On a cliff nearby I could see Elyo basking in the sun. It didn't take me long for m to understand what he was doing. Cultivating was a part of our lives now and each of our moment was dedicated to it. We spend time with our familly, ate, dreamt,etc... thinking of cultivating. Our reason was probably different but our actions were the same. I sat down and continued to create my Eye Art while waiting for him to stop. I needed to travel to the surrounding areea to understand the natural formation drawing in Stars Qi.

After several hours I didn't count, Elyo got up and streched itself. He saw me nearby and came to me. I quickly sensed his approach and opened my eyes.

"I need to look at the surrounding areas to understand to profundities of the natural formation. Do I have your permition and can you come with me, a guide and a little company would be appreciated ?" I asked. Even though I could just go without telling, I thought it was reckless.

First, if the hyenas King came at this moment, they wouldn't know where Iwas and tis could lead to problems for Zoe who would have stayed here.

Second, it could create some resentment between us. They are the king and queen of this forest and we are just trespasser. I shoumdn't forget it.

Third, I didn't know the surrounding and it was best to have a guide who would point the best and most interessant spots.
