Do We Have A Deal?

We made it to the man's house, the talks on the way down were pretty nice but I still had the contract on her head to think about, especially if the devil didn't take her bargain. But putting that aside we got out of the carriage and walked to the front door of the house. I'm not wasting time waiting for him to come to the door so I kicked it clean off the hinges and chased him down until I had him tied to a chair. As soon as I said it was safe she came in and wanted to kill him herself. They had a conversation that I hadn't paid attention to, I just sat off to the side until she asked me to use my gun. "It won't work for you, my gun, and my horse is bound to me only," I told her. "I can shoot him for you or find you a gun" Honestly, i didn't have time for an answer so while she began to ask me to find a gun I just pulled the peacemaker out and shot him in the head. "What the hell?!" She screamed at me. "I was supposed to shoot him." "Listen, I don't have the time for this, if you want the deal with the devil then let's get it over with but I wasn't about to go and find you a gun when I could shoot him," I told her as I began to summon the devil to the door. The air went cold and every light soon went dim until an evil figure was standing before us. It wasn't anything new to me, however, he did look a little annoyed that she wasn't dead yet. "What do you want? She was supposed to be killed, not this man then me summoned for child's play." The devil snared. "Was her final wish for him to die and she has a proposal for you, I don't care either way, you turn it down and ill kill her here," I said partially feeling bad after all of the conversations. "I want to become a Marshall," she said. " I know you give deals for the people to stay alive if they kill under your name, just like he had signed. And I want to join." She pleaded. "And why is that?" The devil asked. "You know your life will never be the same after you begin killing for me, and if you decline killing someone I will torture you until you do. Same as I did to him." He mentioned as he looked at me. "Think you could handle a partner on kills?" "It doesn't matter to me if she joins or not. Kills are all the same." I said knowing what he meant. What he actually meant was that if there was ever anything more between us than being partners for hunts then he would kill her. As before. "So what do you say kiddo? Want to sign this deal?" He asked with a wicked smile on his face, opening the contract for her soul which was now altered to reflect the one I had signed years ago. She signed it, and I saw the devil smile before the darkness consumed her and she was soon redressed in all black, with a peacemaker to match. Her new horse also emerged from the shadows. Before leaving though the devil left a contract for a new target. This time a town.
