Chapter 6

"Mr. Guide? What do the coins look like?"

Han looked at the little girl who asked that question in surprise and thought, 'How? How in the world is that little girl still alive?'

He then looked at her mother and father and thought, 'What kind of life are they living on Earth to bring their little girl to Paradise?'

Steeling himself, Han shook those thoughts away and replied, "What the coins look like? Then did you see the coins that man," points at Adan "was counting? Yeah, those were the coins I was talking about."

The survivors, bar Adan, were looking at him in surprise and then glanced at Adan who was asleep. How come he already has so many coins before the mission even started while they were empty-handed?

As if knowing what the people around him were thinking, Adan then said, "I found these coins while waiting for all of you guys. If you guys weren't too lazy in coming here, then maybe you would've found coins too."

Some of the survivors were angry at his words, mainly the Silver Mark guy and the fat father, but the others had no complaints about what he said.

Han on the other hand had a wry smile present on his face as he thought, 'Even if they had more time in finding coins, they couldn't have found any as they don't appear until the [Third Mission] starts! I don't even know how you found those coins and how come they're so many!'

Adan then looked in the direction of where Han is and smirked, 'I'm in the same situation as you, man. I don't even know where these coins are popping up. I just found these when I was wandering around the 5th and 6th floor while waiting for the others.'

If Han knew what Adan was thinking then he would've replied with a, "You can't even go into the 5th or 6th floor if the mission doesn't start!"

Feeling tired all of a sudden, Han immediately teleported out of there after saying, "You guys can pass this mission if all of you cooperate. And before I forget, be wary of the phantom monster you met in the [First Mission]. It will start hunting after midnight."

Not feeling any shame, Seol Jihu immediately stood up and walked towards Adan who was sleeping on his chair with his on top of the desk as his face was covered by his hood.

"Were you the first one to arrive to-" as Seol Jihu was beginning to question Adan about something, Adan's left hand immediately shot up towards Seol Jihu's face as his pointer finger stopped in front of the Gold Mark's face.

"Would you be quiet?" Seol Jihu was quite confused by his words but soon understood when he saw Adan's head gesture towards Mr. Silver Mark and the Fat Father who were looking at them.

Seeing that they were found, Mr. Silver Mark and the Fat Father quickly looked elsewhere while looking quite annoyed.

Seeing that they weren't needed here anymore, both the Silver Marks got off their seats and left the classroom. While the Fat Father and his family walked towards Seol Jihu's group and Adan.

The cap-wearing guy who was near Adan looked at the gathered group in silence and waited for someone to speak up as he didn't know what to do anymore.

Unknown to all the people around him, Adan's left eye opens, and looks at the family who was walking towards him in confusion and thought, 'Is the child going to need coins too? She isn't even a "participant".'

Fat Father stops in front of Seol Jihu and asked, "Can we join you guys? I can't really protect my wife and daughter all on my own if that phantom monster appears."

Seol Jihu contemplated what he was going to do with the family in front of him but soon relented when he looked at the begging eyes of the little girl.

He could see his little sister's face overlap with that of the little girl and that's what solidified his resolve in helping them. Seol Jihu then looked at the father who was looking at him expectantly and hopefully and nodded.

He then looked at Adan's relaxed posture and asked, "Again, were you the first to arrive in the convenience store?"

Adan looked up at Seol Jihu and said, "Huh? Oh, the one that could be found in the school? Yeah, what about it" as he scratched his face in boredom. This 30 minutes break is gonna be so boring for him.

Seol Jihu nodded his head in understanding and opened his mouth to say something but was beaten to it by Yi Seol-Ah who said, "Ah! Then Mr. can you share some of the things you got there? When we arrived there it looked like the place was ransacked by 10 people."

After hearing this, the people around Adan looked at him expectantly like he was going to give them free but were kind of disappointed and angered when he said, "Huh? Why should I? You guys aren't my responsibilities and we aren't even that close. I think the only people here who know my name is Hyun Sangmin over there, and the family that you just took in cause Sangmin introduced me to them."

But sadly for them, Adan's words were the truth and he wasn't obliged to give them anything or even help them for that matter. Even if they tried to force him to give them the food and drinks, they couldn't. They saw how strong the guy was with how easily he slapped the monster's chains away.

Seeing that Adan wasn't budging on his decision, Seol Jihu and his companions could only sigh in defeat as they took out all the food the shoplifted in the convenience store. He then proceeded to try and divide all the food and drinks that he can to the group but was short.

He only filled his Gold Bag with 4 people's worth of food and drinks while the siblings only filled both their bags 3 people's worth of food and drinks. So they were short of 2 people's worth of food.

The cap-wearing guy and the Fat Father could only look at the others eat and drink while the daughter would try and give her father some of her shares but was gently turned down.

Seeing the interaction between the father and daughter, Adan couldn't help but sigh in annoyance and took out 2 people's worth of food from his bag and set it on the desk beside him, "Here. Get your fucking food. And don't think I didn't notice you planned all of this Seol Jihu, Hyun Sangmin."

Seol Jihu only 'innocently' smiled at him while Hyun Sangmin was laughing nervously while scratching the back of his bandana as he said, "H-Hahahahahaha, don't be like that man! We just wanted all of us to eat and this is the only way we could think of!"

Adan kissed his teeth as he looked away from them while thinking, 'Damn it! You just had to pull the children card, didn't you? I'll remember this Seol Jihu, Hyun Sangmin.'

Unknown to all the people, Adan's eyes glowed in the shadows of his hood as he thought, 'Imma prank the hell out of both of you!'

Seol Jihu and Hyun Sangmin could only shiver in fear as they watched Adan's back as he cackled evilly as a dark aura was surrounding him. Shin Sang-Ah, the Yi siblings, and the family of three could only pity the two beside them.
