Working it out. [Month 4 Day 2]

Me: "So what do you think of the merchant guild then."

Almaien: "I think it's a good idea and it will work; you just need the get the traders together to talk about it and have all the villages have these cards. Then you just need to think about after that."

Me: "After that will be nothing. I need to give people time to get used to the system and for them to find out and work with it. When introduced to something so new they are going to do things new with it and try it out for themselves. They will find uses for it, see what they can do, and I need people to do that. The merchant guild is just to give people another option and avenue of thing to find and do. I will just be working on myself and working on the village. With something like this economic system, there is not much I can do without people doing something first."

Almaien: "Ok I'm no expert, but you sound like you know what you are doing."

Me: "I can teach you about economics if you want."

Almaien: "That is nice of you but that is not my area of interest or expertise. I know the general basics and that is all I need. Now that I have the basics, I now need to be able to experiment with the cards."

Me: "Yes."

With her new card, I ask her to fill out her information on the card.

I then transfer the money to her personal account and for the village.

I have her 10 coins for herself and 300 coins for the village.

Almaien: "Look all this money."

Me: "I trust you to be responsible with it and I hope it helps out your village."

Almaien: "I've not had much use with money before those are mainly in the big cities and countries, so this is something new for me. But I look forward to trying it out."

I feel like I should give myself props for creating this system. I can't take credit for making it, but I can show my love for it. Not needing a third party to be able to create transactions between people is so perfect right now. I kind of feel like this is what it was designed for. Though I somehow doubt that although that could be an interesting and very funny conspiracy theory.

Me: "Alright we are done here; I imagine you still have plenty of work to do so I will get out the way."

Almaien: "You can stay if you want, you can leave for the other villages tomorrow."

Me: "Well, thank you for your hospitality."

Almaien: "I feel like we have not had much opportunity to just talk to each other. How has Freya need did she give birth yet?"

Me: "Oh Freya is health, she gave birth to 15 healthy puppies, she is currently at home taking care of them along with Rex."

Almaien: "That's going to be interesting for you living with 15 puppies all in the same house."

Me: "They will grow fast I imagine, and I am kind of used to it as I had to take care of Rex when he was just a puppy although I think he might be a rare exception as he gained EXP whilst still being a none rank."

Almaien: "Ah those are quite rare."

Me: "What do you mean by rare?"

Almaien: "Well to get animals or monsters as pets you need to create a bond with them in a way. This often happens with none ranked animals and such as it is easier to create such with younger animals as they are more suspectable mentally to these kinds of things. Then animal trainers often don't make their none rank monsters fight anything to gain EXP. It's generally considered needlessly cruel to do so."

Thinking back on that makes me realises that was bad. Although I did not make him fight if I recall I just held a monster down whilst Rex finished them off.

Me: "Well enough about that kind of stuff what about you how has the village been."

Almaien: "It's been good, just getting up and running again making houses for everyone and trying to get people productive."

Me: "Like giving them jobs and such."

Almaien: "Yep, just assigning people to do this job making sure everyone has what they need and just sorting out all the problems that arise."

Me: "You said before that it has been great fun didn't you, that stuff is starting to sound a bit tedious."

Almaien: "At times it has been, but I still massively enjoy all the organisation, getting what is needed, making sure everything is running. I don't know why but I just enjoy this stuff."

Me: "What about you, have you been alright."

Almaien: "I am doing what I love and enjoy and for the people I care about so yep I'm feeling good."

Me: "Anything special going on in your life."

Bit of a probing question but let's see where I can take it.

Almaien: "If you're asking about my love life then it's dead and has been dead for quite a while."

Me: "If it is alright can I ask why."

Almaien: "There is no particular reason, but I just never found the right person that I got along with."

Me: "Do you think you will?"

Almaien: "I think I will, I just hope it's not far away. What about you?"

Me: "Never had anything permeant with anyone, they all just seemed to miss something."

Almaien: "I understand that I did have a couple of relationships but there was that missing connection in conversations. But time will tell if I find something."

Me: "I think everyone deserves someone it's just if you find it."

Almaien: "True but I believe that I will."

Not sure where that conversation went but I at least know that she is single. Through I fell the more important question is even though she is single am I interested. I mean there is nothing to lose, and she seems amazing to me, and I have found nothing I dislike. But I haven't spent enough time around her to get to know her.

I think I will just let life decide what happens.
