Magic Isn't The Only One?

"Nowhere to run!" Said by a knight, suddenly, many knights surrounded 1 person who stood at the center. The unknown person then smirked before licking their lips. "Well, this should be fun.." As he began tapping his foot, making a beat as the knights then charged at him one by one.

"I just love the sound of desperation!" The person swiftly evaded the first knight's attack then redirecting the second knight's attack towards their ally as it killed them instantly. "Shit!-" Before the unknown person would slam their face down to the ground, making it shake as the remaining knights would back away slowly. The captain couldn't help but feel intimidated and nervous. "So this is the wanted man from another country.." The captain gulped, as the unknown person was relieved. "Oh so you know me! Well at least my fame has reached this country as well I see." He laughed.

"Or as people call me.. Grim Sin." After tapping his foot throughout the time, he snapped his fingers as every knight was suddenly cut half from their body. The captain witnessing the gruesome sight as he fell down on the ground, looking at the man now called Grim walking towards him.

"So old man. Do you know where the Academy of Magic is?" Grim asked nicely while leaning down, the captain didn't have a choice but to point to where it was. "..north then head east.." He said as Grim would lightly poke the captain's forehead. "Thank you! And for your reward, you'll get a quick and painless death!" As the captain's head suddenly exploded into bits, his blood splattering around everywhere.

"Oh boy, I made a mess again. Oopsie." Grim said to himself while feeling a bit silly at the same time, yet he just walked away while humming and tilting his head to the beat of his tune. "Oh how the world is cruel indeed. And I have to kill someone in order to survive." He then pulled out a piece of paper, revealing a contract that appeared to be from the Tool Family. "To hunt someone named.. Von Tool."

Meanwhile..

The teacher who was named Ash would summon a ball made of magic, it had no element so it was pretty much the basics. "So as you can see. This is pretty much simple. Just handle the ball with your magic by making sure the energy is stable." She said whilst playing with the ball around before smirking as she looked at Cyrus. "You try!" The ball then flew over to Cyrus as he suddenly caught it with his hand, the ball then began to light up and freak out in a uncontrollable way. "Woah shit!-"

He remembered the way was to control his energy, as the surrounding magic over him felt a bit wild. So he had to calm down, making sure his energy isn't all around his body, proceeding to focus all his control on his hand where the ball was. Surprisingly, it worked as the ball managed to calm down. "Oh damn.. I didn't even know that."

He chuckled as he felt amazed that he learned something new for once where he didn't need to scam someone. Before playing with the ball around him as the other students were slightly amazed.

"To suddenly learn it quick, he's good!"

"Show off.."

"No wonder he's the assistant of the representative!"

Hearing the praise made Cyrus feel proud of himself, and a bit of a tingling feeling since he didn't get praised that much back in Earth due to how he used to trick people a lot so, that's why. Before looking at Tool then grabbing the ball tightly. "Right at ya pal!"

Cyrus would strengthen the power of his throw before throwing it straight at Tool.

Tool on the other hand would look at Cyrus, seeing the ball flying at him in a fast speed, before getting in a stance as he got ready to catch it. As the ball landed on his hands with heavy pressure. He was being pushed back due to the force of how hard it was thrown. Yet he managed as he stopped the ball, smoke coming out of his hands before sighing. "Did you have to throw it that hard?"

He said as the energy ball was still stable despite having that much energy. Cyrus smirked as he laughed. "Yeah but I knew you'd catch it anyways! It was a gamble."

Tool just nodded, not disagreeing about what Cyrus said, and because he was strong enough to do it. Before lifting the energy ball up from his left hand then playing around with it for a bit. "So do I throw this to someone else as well?" He looked at Ash while she just nodded with a thumbs up.

Tool looked around to the other students only to see them backing away, making him feel a bit gloomy that no one was willing to. But 6 other students didn't back off. Mary was just there staring at him. "What?" Now having a big brain moment as he would throw it at her instantly.

Mary was caught off guard yet had been cautious since she kind of wanted the ball to be thrown at her either way. "Strength Boost!" Saying one of her skills as her body was covered by a orange aura, her hands being ready, as the ball would be caught by her. Yet she couldn't stay standing as he would get pushed back, trying to stop it.

In the end, she had caught it, but using one of her magic made her know that his power is truly different from hers, panting heavily as he raised the ball up with her hand weakly. "Heh.. See?.. Caught it easily.." She threw the ball back at Ash as she kept panting.

Ash whistled before catching the ball then making it disappear with a: poof! sound. As she snapped her fingers, returning everyone back at the classroom while she stood at the front. "So we'll continue this one tomorrow. Your next teacher will be a professor." She said before waving goodbye at the class, grabbing her book as she left.

Everyone was a bit relieved that they weren't targeted by Tool or Cyrus, since they didn't wish to die early on.

While Cyrus would sigh, laying his head down on the table in front of him while Tool just didn't know what to think about. Mary was taking a rest since she didn't even expect it to be that strong.

"I'm guessing there are other strong magic users here." Said by Tool as he looked around before noticing that someone was sitting down beside him, a.. guy? Or was it a girl?

"Ah, it took a while but you finally noticed me!" They said cheerfully, as they just looked straight at the board of the class, not even taking a glance at the three. Cyrus would tilt his head, looking at them before asking a question that felt important for him. "Are you a guy or a girl.. Please don't let this be like last time.." He said since he remembered what Earth used to be like and well.. The rules and policies were out of hand.

"Of course I'm a guy!" 'He' said while smiling cheerful and happy, of course Cyrus just sighed and shrugged, not wanting to get baited once again like back then. "Whatever you say dude.."

Tool would poke the person's cheek as he then looked to where Tool was. "Now I know where you are! Oh, I'm sorry. My name's Yun. Yun La. Nice to meet you guys!" Yun said while still having a smile at them, but Tool noticed something a bit off..

"You're blind." He said casually, when Cyrus heard it he couldn't believe it so he had to take another look. Taking an even better view as he saw Yun's pupils in his eyes not having any. Feeling a bit uncomfortable. "My bad.." He said genuinely as he just laughed.

"Oh it's fine, most people don't notice it and think I'm joking but I'm glad you actually took a look!" Yun said not feeling any anger nor disappointment at Cyrus, making him feel relieved. "Oh thanks.. Though, I guess you were born with it?"

"Unfortunately yes.. But I can manage!" Yun said whilst nodding, which made Cyrus curious as he needed to take a look at their Reputation.

Passive: Magic Detect. ( This passive allows the user to detect and know where magical energy is being held. As well as people's magical energy in their bodies. Although it has a radius, limiting around 20 meters. )

"Yes we can.. See that." Cyrus couldn't believe that he met someone with Spirit magic, since he remembered that it was a 2% in his passive, knowing that this guy could be powerful than him.

Then the professor arrived in the classroom, wearing a somewhat large lab coat, as he looked a bit nerdy and messy. "Alright class.. Let's get this shit up and running." And his personality didn't suit him very well apparently.

"So as you all may know, our country is separated. There are 3, ours included. As our country is called The Haven. Close to heaven, hilarious.. The other one is called The Forbidden. Where the monsters and demons reside, and so of course, only a few can enter there. And lastly.. The Sanctuary. All the beast people live there to avoid humanity, or us. Due to our complicated history. But that's for another time. Now, all of us have differences, our looks, and our species. But most of all.. Our power."

The students were listening, as well as Cyrus, Tool, Yun and Mary, they hadn't known this before so this was exclusively in the academy. The professor then continued about the topic. "We, humans have been granted with Magic Energy from the gods. While from the beastfolk, they have Beast Energy. Containing from their ancestors who had a connection with one of the most powerful Beast in history. And lastly, Chaotic Energy. Instead of naming it Demonic or Dark energy, it is widely different. Chaotic Energy is the most dangerous type of power to be controlled. Hence the name, Chaotic. Understand?"

All the students nodded.

"So, what's different? Beast Energy consists of extreme power, enabling the beast folk to release their inner urge to kill, to make them stronger and more hungry. Enhancing both physical and magical energy. So when you see one, probably best to make them your friend." Some of the students laughed whilst the other continued to listen carefully, Tool couldn't help but yawn, feeling a bit sleepy. Cyrus and Mary were talking and having a conversation about how interesting this was. Yun on the other hand is just, staring. As the professor continued. "And Chaotic Energy, consists of outbursts, uncontrollable power, yet dangerous at the same time. Some could control it, only the skilled ones can, and some would.. die from it. Funny right? That's why there's only a few can!" The professor laughed a bit weirdly, as the students felt a bit creeped out.

"Sadly there's not much information about Chaotic Energy, adventurers were set out on an exploration to The Forbidden but.. only some came back, somewhat alive. So for now, other topics that are boring!" He said trying to cheer up the class, yet in the end, everyone was so bored out of their mind. Yet, all was happy when break time finally came. The favorite time of all.
