A Flugel's Gacha

An ordinary anime fan transmigrates into the world of Fairy Tail with a Gacha System and a sassy A.I Kouhai. He wants to become strong enough that nobody can mess with him ever again… And have a harem of girls, but he’s a bit too embarrassed to say that out loud. Chapter 13

"Okay," I spoke as I took a seat on my bed, the sun setting outside and orange light illuminating the room as I stared at BB who held a perfect face of innocence. "You said I got a World Roll, right?"

[That is correct, yes.] She smiled sweetly.

"And you said I got it because…?"

[Because you changed the trajectory of fate by doing the Duke Everlue mission yourself and taking Virgo's Celestial Spirit Key.] She answered promptly.

"… That's how I obtain more rolls, isn't it?" I asked her. "By changing people's fates… Or, rather, disrupting canon through my actions…"

She grinned slowly. [It's about time you figured it out, Senpai~ That's right… It would be boring if you were just a bystander who cruised on by, right? The only way to obtain more Gacha Rolls, and thus easier access to Magic, is by interfering in canon events~ That's how you can obtain more rolls outside of just waiting six months~]

I let out a tired sigh at her words… It definitely aligned with BB; she wouldn't just make rolls easy for me. No, I should have seen this coming… That meant that Multiverse Rolls were probably only for major changes in Fate… Like getting everyone off Tenrou Island kind of changes.

Changes that drastically altered the canon of the story was my guess, like if I killed Zeref, then that would probably skip the entire Alvarez Arc… Or, at least, change it up so drastically compared to normal. Saving everyone from Tenrou Island would result in everyone having an extra seven years of training… And Makarov might be dead given his age, but let's not think about that.

"Right…" I nodded slowly. "I think I understand how the Gacha part of the system works fully now."

[It's about time you figured it out, Senpai~] She smirked smugly. [So, would you like BB-chan to spin the wheel for you?]

I took a deep breath… Well, there was no time like the present- "Wait, do I get bonus odds if I do multiple rolls at once?" I asked her.

[Nope, all the same odds no matter what.]

"Oh…" That was slightly disappointing. Not at all unexpected, but still disappointing. "Then yes, please roll for me BB."

She grinned as a wheel appeared behind her and she turned around, wiggling her hips in front of my face- making that big ass of hers bounce in those tiny black shorts- before she grabbed the edge of the wheel. [BB-!] She grinned as she used all of her strength to spin the wheel, causing wind to ripple through the room. [SPIIIIIIN! ~]

I shuddered as I felt the breeze rolling over my body as BB was bent over for a few moments after she spun the wheel, giving me an absolutely phenomenal view.

[Oh?] She smirked back at me, and I realised this was her intention all along! She slowly reached back, running her gloved hands over her smooth, tanned backside. [You like what you see, Senpai? Didn't you think earlier about teaching BB-Chan a lesson while she was wearing her cheerleader outfit? Why don't you come and teach BB-Chan her lesson then, she's been such a bad girl after all~]

'Don't fall for it, don't fall for it, don't fall for it,' I chanted mentally to myself as I forced myself to focus on the wheel spinning instead.

[Boo, Senpai is no fun!] She huffed as she stood up, before she too focused on the wheel… While humming and wiggling her hips in front of my face- bitch.

Finally, the wheel slowed down… And came to a halt.

[You have obtained Steel God Slayer Magic.]

My eyes widened as I stared at the words floating in front of my face, part of me unable to believe it…

God Slaying Magic? I'd already obtained Dragon Slaying Magic, and now I was getting God Slaying Magic? If I obtained Devil Slaying Magic, I would complete the trinity!

I quickly opened up my status to look at my new magic.

Steel God Slayer Magic (Innate)

Magic capable of killing Gods by wielding the power of Steel. The user is capable of morphing parts of their body into Steel, forming parts of their bodies into weapons.

Spells

Steel God's Bellow – Wide Mid to Long-Range Attack, the user unleashes a mighty war cry that unleashes a wave of magic, filled with steel shrapnel to tear the opponent to shreds.

I whistled lowly… My own God Slaying Magic… It was incredibly similar to Gajeel's own Dragon Slaying Magic, however mine was Steel. Steel was of a higher tier than Iron, given it was a combination of Iron and Carbon…

"Does this mean I can eat Gajeel's Magic?" I asked BB. "Given my Steel God Slaying Magic is a higher 'tier' than his own?"

[Yep~] BB nodded with a grin… Why did that grin make me feel like I'd just said something wrong? [Though, since your Magic is only fledgling, he can eat yours too. You'll need to improve your magic to at least Amateur to ensure that Gajeel can't eat your magic… The only way for him to eat your magic once you hit Amateur is to either evolve into a Steel Dragon- like he does against Torafuzar briefly- or to improve his own magic to Master.]

Well, that was very re-assuring… That essentially meant that, once I got my magic up a few ranks, Gajeel wouldn't be my match. I'd be immune to his attacks, and I could eat his magic to get stronger… I would need to keep that in mind for the future, as I'd rather Levy not be hurt by Gajeel's attack.

Levy had become a good friend of mine over the months, and I certainly didn't want her to get hurt. I would help her grow but- unless she got stronger quickly- Gajeel just wasn't her match.

"Right…" I nodded and stretched. "I'll be training later than to bring my new magic up to par… For now, I should get some sleep."

[Aw, don't you want to have some fun with BB-Chan? ~]

"I literally can't touch you," I reminded her as I climbed under the covers. "So, that isn't happening," I turned my head away from her and closed my eyes. "Goodnight, BB."

She huffed at me. [Goodnight, Senpai.]

I felt the world fade away around me as I slowly drifted off… And for just a moment, I could have sworn I felt a pair of slender arms wrapping around me and holding me tight.

.

.

.

"Welcome back!" Mavis smiled at me as I took a seat at the bar.

"Good to be back," I responded, glancing around the guild. "Is Levy out, or am I just early?"

"She's out," Mavis shrugged. "All of Team Shadow Gear went off on a mission… Levy didn't look happy about it though; I think she's about ready to cut them both off and stop teaming up with them… I know they care about her, but they should really cut back and understand she's not interested in them like that…"

"Ah, so it's not just me who sees it," I chuckled.

"Everyone sees it," she snorted softly. "Even Nozomi sees it, and she admits that when it comes to relationships, she's as dumb an Ox."

I winced at that… If even Nozomi could see it- even though she was more intelligent in this world- that made Jet and Droy's simping pretty damn obvious.

"So, how did your mission go?" Mavis asked me. "Did you succeed?"

"Technically I failed," I shrugged helplessly.

"Technically?" She tilted her head. "That sounds like a story."

"And a half," I snorted. "But the short version is that book I was supposed to destroy? It had a letter re-arrangement spell on it that would only activate when coming into contact with someone carrying the writer's bloodline. The client was the author's son so, when I handed the book over for him to destroy himself, the spell activated and re-arranged the letters in the book. It turns out, the book was actually a letter written by the author to his son, a final goodbye to the person who was on his mind the entire time he was writing it."

"Aww…" Mavis wiped her eyes slightly to prevent any tears from spilling out. "That's so sweet… And so sad… You may have failed the mission, but I would definitely call that a success!"

"Yeah, well, I didn't accept payment. For one, the payment was the client's life savings. Plus, I technically failed the mission, so I refused payment on the grounds that I didn't fulfil his request."

"Very noble of you," she smiled approvingly. "I know that Master would approve of such a thing too."

"But it wasn't like I got nothing out of it," I smirked.

She paused and stared at me. "What did you do?"

I chuckled in amusement before I lifted my hand, and Virgo's Key appeared within my grasp. "Turns out, the person who I had to steal the book from was a corrupt politician who was capable of using Celestial Spirit Magic… He even had Virgo the Maiden's Key… I made a deal with Virgo that, if I was able to defeat her and then her master, I would take ownership of the key."

She gasped. "Wow… One of the Twelve Zodiac Keys…" She murmured. "It's a good thing you have it rather than that politician… A Key of the Twelve Zodiac should not be used for evil. I'm glad that it's in your hands, I know you'll use it for good."

"That is the plan," I agreed. "I haven't made a contract with Virgo just yet since I plan to let her rest in the Spirit World before I summon her."

She hummed and nodded in understanding. "Take care of it, okay? Treat your spirits well, and they will treat you well in turn."

"I know," I smiled in amusement… I wanted to tell Mavis about my Steel God Slaying Magic, but I decided to keep it on the down low… At least for the moment, I had no way to explain how I learned it beyond 'from a book.' Dragon Slaying Magic I got away with; I wasn't sure I'd get away with God Slaying Magic so easily.

"So," she set a plate of pasta in front of me; she spoiled me, really. "What are your upcoming plans? Going to take on another mission?"

"Not too many," I shook my head. "I'm satisfied with being a B-Class Mage at the moment, I think this is my current 'ceiling' as it were. I'd like to train some more, develop my magic further, before I step into A-Class. It's currently June, which means that the S-Class trials are six months away. There's no need to rush things, I can take my time and focus on getting stronger."

She smiled slowly. "I'm glad you still understand that sometimes, you need to take a break from missions and focus on training…" She shook her head and sighed. "I'm afraid quite a few people in the guild only really focus on missions or coming to use this place as a hangout spot… I mean no offence to anyone in the guild of course, but many of them just don't seem to care about training or getting stronger. And then, when the S-Class Trials start to come around, suddenly they get in a huff and start taking mission after mission in hopes they'll get picked.

"They don't seem to understand that the Master is constantly looking for qualities in day to day life for them to become S-Class Mages, not for them to just pick things up when the trials are right around the corner… I love Fairy Tail as a family, but it's just something that bothers me," she sighed.

"There's nothing wrong with wanting your family to be strong," I comforted her gently, stabbing my fork into the pasta and twirling it around. "You're just worried that if danger comes to our doorstep someday, that the- forgive me if I sound rude- weaker members might be in real trouble given they never train themselves to get stronger. Unlike other members like Nozomi, myself, Erza, and so on."

"Yeah, you get it," she nodded. "I don't agree with the Master's Granddaughter on a lot of things, but it certainly wouldn't kill the other members to train once in a while… Not even once a week, just once a month at least."

"Yeah, I get that," I nodded as I lifted the pasta to my mouth and began to eat it…

Wait… Granddaughter?

[Surprise again, Senpai~] BB cooed into my ear.

I swallowed my pasta slowly, taking care not to choke, before I slowly downed half of my glass of water.

Just how many Genderswaps had BB put in this fucking place?!

"So," Mavis smiled at me, "How about you tell me the full story of your mission this time?"

I stared at her for a moment, before I shook my head as I pushed the thoughts of the fact Laxus was a girl out of my head and smiled at her. "Sure, I'd be happy to."

As I regaled Mavis with the tale of my first B-Class mission- perhaps embellishing some details- I couldn't help but reflect lightly on how far things had come in just five months.

B-Class Mage, powerful magics, and a powerful bloodline… And I was determined to get stronger in the upcoming month leading up to canon.

BB hummed, smiling as she watched me in amusement… Her purple eyes briefly turned as red as blood as a seductive smile crawled onto her lips, speaking words I couldn't hear as I was focused on Mavis.

[Let's see just how far you can go… I hope you don't die too soon; I'd hate to need to send you to another world so soon… So, entertain me a lot please… Se~ N~ Pai~]
