Shock

When they finished their dinner, it is now time for desserts. When Noctis removed the cover, the aroma of the rainbow fruit assaulted their nose and their appetites were stimulated once more. Noctis then sliced the gelatin and placed some into their bowls.

When they took in the gelatin, they were entranced by the exploding flavors inside their mouth, the flavor changed 7 times in their mouth and when they tried to swallow, the gelatin smoothly entered their throat and into their stomach. The adults could feel the energy flowing into their body, while the chipmunks were overflowing in happiness. They have also eaten the new flavor of ice cream and they couldn't stop themselves from eating.

Soon, the feast was done and it is time for August to go with Brandish, they have already rented an inn in Glasgow and were supposed to stay for at least 1 week before continuing on their journey. The kids said their goodbyes while the husband and wife duo cleaned up the table.

Maybe because the kids played too much, they got sleepy and slept on the spot. Dimaria fell asleep after training with the soldiers and slept on the middle of the couch while sitting, Erza fell asleep on Dimaria's left side while curling so as to not disturb Dimaria. As for Kagura... she's doing Kagura things while sleeping, she's sleeping on the right side of Dimaria, the only problem is, one of her foot is on Dimaria's face while the other foot is placed on Dimaria's lap.

Due to tiredness, Dimaria didn't wake up at all.

After cleaning the dining table, Irene went on to wash the plates and Noctis was about to bring the kids up when he saw their current state as he chuckled seeing their positions and called Irene over. When Irene came over, her eyes widened as she chuckle after seeing their positions, Kagura's foot pinky is inside Dimaria's nose. After a few seconds of chuckling, Irene pinched Noctis and told him to bring them upstairs, Noctis was now disappointed that he haven't bought at least a camera when he went to Toriko World. If he did, then he could capture this moment and show it to tease the kids.

Noctis then picked Kagura up and laid her beside Pitou who's been sleeping all day which he found weird, he did the same to the other two and laid them down and covered them with a quilt and he heads down to help his wife in cleaning the dishes.

Irene is washing the dishes when Noctis hugged her from behind startling her a little.

"Let me help." Noctis said as he gave her a light kiss and helped her wash the dishes.

Once they finished cleaning up, Noctis carried Irene in a princess carry and brought her to their room before laying her down on the bed.

After the duo did their thing, they changed into their nightwear and Irene was about to sleep when Noctis spoke up.

"I heard some news from Andrew that there's an ongoing war southeast of here." Noctis said.

"Mm. I heard about it from gossiping people earlier." Irene nodded as she too heard about it.

"We won't be able to continue our journey after this. Should we go meet my parents?" Noctis said and Irene got what Noctis is trying to say.

"Do you want to tell them about it?" Irene asked while rubbing her belly.

"Of course, I wonder what their face would look like after hearing about it?" Noctis thought as he imagined their shocked faces.

'Mm. Worth a try.' Noctis thought as Irene pinched his arm.

"What?" Noctis asked innocently.

"You're planning something, aren't you." Irene asked while Noctis just looked away.

"I love you." Irene suddenly said to Noctis catching him off-guard making his ears red.

"So you do know how to get embarrassed." Irene said with a smile as she blew some air to Noctis' ear making it even more red.

Noctis turned and stared at Irene this time, making her uncomfortable from his gaze.

"I love you too." Noctis said making Irene's heart beat wildly. Admitting defeat, Irene just pounded Noctis' chest lightly as they slept through the night.

The next day, Noctis woke up early and went down. He was surprised when he saw Pitou sitting on the couch with a bowl of gelatin in her hands.

"Good morning, Pitou." Noctis said with a smile.

"Good morning Papa. Mmm." Pitou replied as she swallowed another piece of gelatin.

Noctis then sat down besides Pitou and put her on his lap.

"How is it? Is it good?" Noctis asked Pitou who scooped another piece of gelatin and urged her father to eat it.

"Its good!" Pitou said as Noctis opened his mouth and ate the gelatin his daughter is offering him.

"Mm." Noctis mumbled to go with her daughter.

"Papa, I learned a new technique, look." Pitou then summoned Dr. Blythe in front of his father and Noctis finally knew the reason why Pitou is asleep for the rest of the day.

"Woooow! Looks like our Pitou is growing up!" Noctis exclaimed as he pats Pitou's head causing her to giggle.

"Papa, why did I sense 2 green ball of light in Mama's tummy?" Pitou dropped the bomb making Noctis' jaw drop.

"P-Pitou, c-can you please r-repeat what you j-just said? H-how did you know?" Noctis asked while shaking.

"Uhh, when I activated Dr. Blythe? Papa, I sense 2 green balls of light in Mama's tummy, what are those?" Pitou asked innocently.

Noctis thought that Dr. Blythe's only function was to heal, because it was the only thing shown in the show. He never thought that Dr. Blythe is oversensitive to aura. Pitou also said that there are 2 balls of light, then that means... he would have twins.

Noctis' whole body is shaking in shock,excitement, and a sense of urgency. He is excited because he would have twins alongside the shock that he received from Pitou and a sense of urgency to make sure that Irene's delivery would be successful.

"Oh, those 2 balls of light? You'll know in the future." Noctis quickly calmed himself and fed Pitou some more gelatin.
