Lunch

Irene and the girls bought some little stuff for themselves while they were roaming around. When lunch time came, Irene reminded Kia and she was sad that her time to play has come to an end, but Irene smiled at her and told her that if she wants to, she can join them in roaming around later to which Kia happily agreed.

They went to the Green Family household and the Guards recognized Kia as well as the woman with her. Irene's fame as a sadist on the battlefield has left a mark to everyone who have heard and know Irene's appearance so they were on guard when they saw her with the young lady of the Green Family.

"Its fine, they are the guests of the Green family." Kia said which made the guards calm down and opened the gate for them. Although they are still wary, they have no choice but to follow.

When they entered, Irene was also surprised as Noctis as she was blasted by the scent of flowers. Kia immediately ran towards her mother.

"Mama! We're home!" Kia enthusiastically said.

"Looks like our little Kia don't love Grandma anymore." Ophelia said and Kia separated from her mother and hugged Ophelia.

"I miss you, Grandma. We're home!" Kia said which made Ophelia chuckle.

"Looks like we have another set of guest?" Ophelia said and looked at Andrew.

"No, mother, she's the wife of Noctis. Irene, the Scarlet Despair." His words surprised Ophelia and shocked Kiara.

"Who would've thought that he would snag such a dangerous beauty?" Kiara said which made Irene raise her brows.

"Welcome to the Green Household, Irene. Just call me Ophelia. I'm sure you know Andrew, Kia, and Kian already. The lady beside me is Kian's wife, Kiara. How about you tell me your names?" Ophelia carried Kia and kneeled down in front of the chipmunks and asked them. The chipmunks were caught off-guard and hid in Irene's back as they were feeling shy about being enthusiastically questioned.

"Come on, girls. Introduce yourself to Lady Ophelia." Irene said as she nudged the trio who slightly gained courage with the help of their mother.

"I-I'm K-Kagura." Kagura said and hid in his mother's back once more.

"M-my name is E-Erza." Erza, although she gathered her courage, when she finally spoke up, she felt pressured leading her to stutter.

"Pitou..." Pitou as a lazy cat, gave her name is the laziest way possible.

Seeing the chipmunks, Kia and Ophelia chuckled. Kia chuckled because of how shy they are compared to when they first talked in the carriage. Ophelia on the other hand chuckled because of the cute children. What gained her focus though, is Pitou. She could see that Pitou is different from humans, she had the ears and tail of a cat which is incredibly rare.

She thought that, the reason why Pitou is still not captured and sold at a high price is because she is being protected by Irene. If Noctis were to hear her thoughts he would laugh his ass off. Peak Pitou could give Acnologia or Zeref, a run for their money.

She took her basket of flowers and extended her hand to the chipmunks. The chipmunks looked at their mother first and when they saw her nodding, they reached out to Ophelia. Ophelia then took a flower and put it into their ear or used it as the anchor as Ophelia tied their hair around the flower. She also did the same to Kia and even Irene who seemed to decline at first but was forced by her children to do it as well.

"Here... look, you're so beautiful." Ophelia summoned a mirror which surprised Irene. She never thought that Ophelia is a space mage as well. She didn't saw any spatial ring in her hand at all.

Ophelia then turned the mirror so that the kids can see themselves into the mirror and they were surprised to see their new hair with the flower.

"Woooooow, so pretty..." Kagura said as she looked at Kia, and Erza. Pitou on the other hand is on the cute side.

"You're also pretty, dear." Ophelia said as she lightly pinched Kagura's cheek.

"Have you taken your lunch yet?" Ophelia asked Irene.

"No. my husband has prepared our lunch for today and he is the one holding on to it." Irene said.

"Is that so? Andrew, go and call our guest from earlier." Ophelia said and ordered Andrew who is lying weakly on the ground. When Andrew heard about it, he immediately used his magic that is a branch of healing magic. It restores his body to peak performance, once a day but that's it.

He immediately ran for his life after her mother has spoken and started searching for Noctis. Ophelia who saw this shook her head but she had a smile on her face.

"Andrew has grown up but there will still be things that will not change even after you grow up." She said.

"Like what?" Erza asked.

"Like, your parent's love for you." Ophelia said and Erza is confused.

"You have a great pair of parents, who will be there to love you at all times. Parents who will be there in your tough times. Parents who will guide you if you got lost. Even if you turn your back to your parents and hate them, they will still be there to love you." Ophelia said to Erza but she only understood a little.

"You only understand a little of it, but as you grow, you will slowly understand life. You will go on a journey to understand the very meaning of life. Your own path will slowly determine whether you will understand it or be lost in trying to understand it." Ophelia continued.

"Its okay if you don't understand it, anyway, how about we go inside and take our lunch?" Ophelia said with a smile as she invited them to go inside.

They nodded their head and followed and entered the mansion's dining area. Ophelia then asked them what they want to eat but Irene declined them saying that her husband has already prepared food for them.

When Noctis, and Andrew arrived at the dining room, Dimaria and Kian are still training and had already eaten, Noctis was smitten by Irene's ethereal beauty. Seeing Noctis' reaction, Irene smiled in satisfaction.

"Dear, how about you take out the lunch you prepared for the children?" Irene stood up and walked towards Noctis.

Noctis snapped out of his daze as she stared at Irene who had tied her hair up only to be charmed by it once again.

'Stockings are the only thing that she's lacking.' Noctis thought as he shook his head and summoned the boxed lunches that Noctis prepared for him and the family.

When the chipmunks saw their lunch they immediately started drooling. Pitou has a fish dish paradise while Erza is having a meat paradise. Kagura doesn't have a preference so her dish is balanced.

When Ophelia saw this, she was surprised.

"Wow, looks like your husband can cook really good." Ophelia said to Irene.

"Thank you for the compliment." Noctis replied as he summoned his and Irene's boxed lunch.

They then started eating their food with a smile on their face as the kids also shared their lunches to Kiara and Ophelia who were mesmerized by the taste. They continued eating their food until they had their fill.
