A Dragon's Perspective

[UPDATES EVERYDAY AT 4PM GMT] "So here I am, the First Son of the High-and-Mighty Noble Dragon House, with a plan so brilliant it’s stupid: screw the heir’s mantle and kick back with a life full of leisure, money, and women. But here's the kicker—I had no damn clue that during my drunken blackout, I got zapped into a friggin' novel I once skimmed. Turns out, the character I’ve become was meant to die early on. Great. My lazy-ass plan just flipped the script. Now, instead of living easy, I’m a walking Calamity Magnet, scrambling to survive in this godforsaken world. Talk about ironic bullshit." "I'll carve out my own path, even if it means dealing with all the BS that comes with it." ________________________________ ●Magic Castle- 10 Extra chapters (RIP my Sleep Schedule) [THE DISCORD IS UP AND RUNNING COME SHOW SOME LOVE... EVA SYLVARITH

The grand carriage of House Sylvarith rolled to a stop at the entrance of House Astarot.

As the door opened, Lady Jade stepped forward, her graceful presence matched by the elegance of the woman emerging from the carriage

Eva Sylvarith, with her stunning red hair and curvaceous figure, descended with a confident smile. Her big, beautiful eyes took in the familiar surroundings with a nostalgic glimmer.

"Eva, welcome back," Lady Jade greeted warmly, enveloping her in a hug.

"It's been too long."

"Thank you, Lady Jade," Eva replied, her voice melodic.

"It feels like coming home."

As they exchanged pleasantries, a group of maids, instructed by Lady Jade, hurried to escort Eva's luggage into the house.

Diaval, watching from a window above, was flooded with memories.

He remembered the days of their childhood, running through these very halls.

Eva had been a constant presence, especially during the time when her family, House Sylvarith, was facing financial troubles and she stayed with the Astarots.

House Sylvarith was one of the many wealthy houses in the Beast Continent. Even though it harboured immense wealth at a time and powerul dragons at that, such Houses were referred to Count Houses.

Count Houses were Noble houses that didn't meet the standards to become a mighty Noble House like the three ruling Houses in the Beast Continent.

He recalled their laughter, the mischievous pranks they pulled on each other and on Adrian, who often referred to them as the "Red Love Birds" due to their matching hair color.

Adrian's teasing usually ended with both Eva and Diaval teaming up against him. Despite their playful quarrels, a deep bond had formed among the three.

Eva had initially harbored a crush on Adrian, enchanted by his blue eyes, charm, and discipline in training.

But as time passed, her feelings shifted toward Diaval, who, despite his laziness, had a genuine humor and warmth that drew her in.

He vividly remembered the day they shared their first kiss, standing in the rain outside Claire City. That moment, filled with innocent affection, had left an indelible mark on his heart.

"That was the Lazy noble's first kiss..."Diaval chuckled remembering the details from the Novel.

Snapping back to the present, Diaval bolted downstairs, eager to see her.

At the entrance, Eva was the center of attention, everyone vying for a moment to speak with her.

She had recently been appointed as a Professor at Remeya Magic University in Aurelia Province, the premier institution for magical studies in Ranora.

Amidst the excited chatter, Lady Jade, who Eva affectionately called "mom," inquired about her new position.

Just then, Adrian entered the scene, causing Eva to bump into his solid frame. She looked up, pouting slightly.

"Red Love Bird number one has arrived," Adrian teased, his royal attire pristine—a white tunic embroidered with silver threads, paired with a dark blue cloak that emphasized his noble status.

"Oh shut up Adrian," Eva responded, blushing despite herself, as she accepted his hug.

"How have u been Eva?"Adrian who wasn't one to hold conversations that much asked.

"You know me, always busy and running from one place to another,"Eva responded as the two chuckled a bit.

All eyes turned to the stairway where Diaval stood. Eva, caught up in the moment, followed their gaze. Her red eyes sparkled as they locked onto Diaval.

"Baby boy... how have you been—" she began, but before she could finish, Diaval enveloped her in a tight hug.

The inner Adam marveled at how naturally his body moved, driven by genuine affection for Eva.

"You've missed me that much?" Eva teased, feeling his blush as he reluctantly pulled away.

Diaval nodded, unable to articulate his feelings in that moment.

"And here is Red Love Bird number two," Adrian said, his tone serious enough to confuse those around him about whether he was joking or not.

They walked side by side to the dining area where a sumptuous meal awaited Eva's arrival.

As usual, Diaval, Eva, and Adrian sat together, rekindling memories for Lady Jade. Watching them, she felt a warmth in her heart, remembering their childhood antics and now seeing them as grown adults.

"So, how have you been?" Diaval asked Eva, genuinely curious about her journey.

Eva smiled, recounting her experiences. "I've been running from one academy to another in Claire Province, but none of them fit my expectations. So, I set my sights on Aurelia Province and was accepted by Remeya Magic University."

The maids, many of whom had known Eva since childhood, gathered around, eager to catch up.

"Eva, dear, it's been ages!" one of the older maids exclaimed. "How's life treating you as a professor now?"

"It's been a whirlwind," Eva replied, laughing. "The students are sharp, and the faculty is even sharper. It's challenging but rewarding."

Another maid chimed in, "Do you remember when you and Diaval used to sneak into the kitchens for midnight snacks?"

Eva laughed, "How could I forget? We got caught so many times!"

Lady Seraphina, always a commanding presence, entered the conversation with a hint of her usual agenda.

"Eva, it's wonderful to see you again. Still not interested in marrying Adrian, I suppose?"

Eva smiled politely, shaking her head. "I'm afraid not, Lady Seraphina."

Seraphina sighed dramatically, "Pity. You two would make such a powerful couple."

'How could she ask that at this time?' Diaval who was disgusted asked himself. Even though he find out it true that while they were young, Lady Seraphina would always try to implant the idea of Eva marrying his son, Adrian.

'What a wicked woman.'

Diaval, sensing Eva's discomfort, quickly changed the subject.

"So, Eva, tell us more about your journey to Aurelia. Any interesting encounters?"

Eva gladly took the opportunity to steer the conversation away.

"Oh, plenty! The journey was long, but I met so many fascinating people along the way. There was this one mage who could create the most intricate illusions..."

As she continued, the dining room buzzed with laughter and stories, the warmth of reunion filling the air.

Diaval, sitting beside Eva, felt a contentment he hadn't known in a long time.

Despite the chaos of their lives, moments like these reminded him of what truly mattered: family, friends, and the bonds they shared.
