Chapter 67

In the end, after David was unparalyzed, Lois was cleared of the charges against her. However, the college frowned upon the actions leading up to it such as partying and drinking. Thus, she moved back into the Kent house, much to Clark's sadness.

Leonardo on the other hand didn't care much as he was expanding his skill set. It was more of a hobby at this point as he was fairly proficient in many things. A hobby he tried to give Clark, yet despite what he might try, he couldn't motivate Clark to spend time each day to expand his skills.

"Now add a bit of this, then a little bit of that and bam." Leonardo talked to himself in the kitchen.

He was currently trying to make some Indian food and it was a bit different. Indian food had a fair bit more species in their food compared to what he is used to. Yet, Leonardo was up for the challenge as he has a fair grasp on Italian, French, Chinese and Thai food. Hence he continued the trend and now was trying some Indian food.

"Gah, open the window." Jonathan said as he walked into the house.

"It's not that bad." Leonardo replied.

Jonathan just gave him a look before his eyes drifted to the food that was prepared. His shoulders slightly slumped when he saw them. Not because it would taste bad, but more from trying so many different dishes one after another.

"Is it too much to ask for a steak and potatoes?" Jonathan asked.

"Well, I can grill one for you if you want, but I was thinking of doing it tomorrow night." Leonardo answered.

Due to his recent interest in cooking, Leonardo sort of became the designated chef for the household for the past few days. Hence he would wipe up two usual dishes and one new one for one of the three meals.

As for why he offered to cook a different meal for Jonathan. Well, in his original world, he would do it for his brother and grandfather at times. Since despite ordering what was for dinner, they would change their mind at the last moment. Hence he didn't care if he had to cook something else for Jonathan or someone else if they asked.

The only time he would reject it is when he is not in the kitchen or not the one doing the cooking. Otherwise he would tell them to use their own hands and feet.

"I will just wait then." Jonathan waved his hand.

Simple nodding, Leonardo began to move the dishes over to the table. Where Jonathan handed him the plates while seeing Martha pull up the driveway.

"Where Lois and Clark?" Jonathan asked.

Following his words were rhythmic thumping and Lois shouted with some loud groans from Clark upstairs. Jonathan counted down from five before heading up the stairs to check things out. While Leonardo just peaked upstairs where he saw Lois bouncing on one foot as she stubbed her toe and cursing as she blamed Clark.

The next day, while Leonardo was grilling the T-bone steaks to everyone's liking. Martha wanted some pink in hers, while Jonathan wanted his fully cooked. Leonardo was keeping an eye out at the golden retriever that Lois brought back early this morning.

It is not that he was against it, but he really wanted to run over and hug it. Truth be told, he loves dogs and this one was well trained.

Hence he looked around to make sure none of the Kent's nor Lois were looking. Then he cut off a small piece from Lois's steak and cooked it quickly before tossing it over to him. While whistling like nothing happened.

"Boogity, boogity

Leonardo sang a silly song as he cooked.

"Aren't you a strong fellow?" Leonardo laughed.

He was currently watching Clark be dragged out of a back truck. After he blew out the flames, Leonardo watched as Clark was saved by the golden retriever who dragged him near effortlessly. For the back was light up green as Clark groaned in pain as he basically boiled alive.

Then he gently petted the good dog as Clark collected himself after being exposed to kryptonite. While a pair who own the truck were knocked out on the ground nearby. For why he was currently here, well, that would require going back a few hours.

After the dog was given a clean bill of health by the vet despite being hit by Lois car. Clark x-ray the dog to find a chip embedded under its skin. Hence he and Lois went off to see who the dog belonged to. Which led to finding out it was one of Luthor Corps lab dogs.

Then while Clark was tracking down the lead and seeing what project the dog was a part of. One of the robbers who recently dominated the news in a string of robbers around Smallville came to the farm to retrieve the dog. Which led to Jonathan getting a arm bit and broken by the second dog the robber uses when robbing places.

As for where Leonardo was during this. Well, he was busy with something else and just got back to see Clark in the back of the truck leading to this moment.

"Where have you been, Leo?" Clark asked.

"There was a large tour ship that was tipping over. So I was busy dealing with that, since you seemed to have this covered pretty well." Leonardo shrugged.

Apparently a tour ship got too close to a reef and rammed it. Thus a large hole was placed in the side and was capsizing with around four hundred people on board. Hence, Leonardo flew over quickly and ended up having to spend a few hours over there playing clean up, while also running into one issue after another.

Not long after he solved the boat, a train derailed, then a large crash occurred where many were injured. It was basically one event after another he went too, and which finally ended with a bank robbery. Safe to say, he was fairly busy as he basically flew all over the planet.

"Well, I guess that makes sense." Clark sighed. "Anyways, I solved the issue as it was a pair of brothers controlling these two dogs in order to rob others."

"So what do we do with them?" Leonardo gestured to the dogs.

That's when the black dog took off and ran away. For where it went, neither of them really cared for the moment since it might still have super strength. Thus giving it over to a dog shelter isn't quite an option at the moment and it is known to attack others. Hence they will round it up later after they are sure the super strength has worn off.

"Well, I hope Mom and Dad will allow me to keep him." Clark said as the dog pressed its nose against his fingers.

"I'm sure it won't be a problem. If anything I will just keep him and take it with me when I move out after highschool." Leonardo shrugged.

Clark shifted a bit under that sentence since he slightly struggled with such an idea. To him he was happy to have Leonardo around all the time.
