Madisyn desired a simple colorful life taking care of her childs and being a devoted loving mother to them. After years of wrong loves she seemed to have finally found the perfect man. After all, the date wasn't as bad as Madisyn had anticipated. He seemed alright—pleasant enough, though certainly nothing special. Yet, despite the evening's smoothness, she still harbored serious doubts about whether she should let him accompany her on what was supposed to be her honeymoon. As the car rolled to a stop in front of her villa, he smiled at her—a confident, easy smile that made her slightly uneasy.
"I rarely have good dates from the app, but I'm glad I finally had one," he said, his tone casual, as though they'd known each other far longer.
"Thanks, I also had a good time," Madisyn replied, forcing a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. She felt a wave of awkwardness settle over her as the car idled, headlights casting long shadows across the villa's stone driveway. She wasn't sure what to expect next, nor what to do if he tried to make a move
