Chapter 65: A New Plan

Then, after looking at the name on the screen, Kai's soul begin to tremble.

He didn't even have the time to rest a little that danger was already calling.

Hina, after noticing his internal turmoil, gently grabbed his arm and invited him to take a seat.

In silence, they both sat down on the sofa.

Meanwhile, Sakura took a deep breath and finally answered the call.

"Yes, Mister Detective Charmer Saito?" Sakura said, with a teasing tone.

"Well, sorry for the sudden call, but It seems like Yuki Nakamura had already predicted some turn of events" Saito said, with an almost-worried tone of voice.

Sakura's eyes widened a little.

"What do you mean, Saito?" Sakura asked, while standing up.

Kai , Akira and Hina looked at her with a confused expression on their face after seeing Sakura looking so agitated.

She always used to be the one with cold blood in almost every kind of situation.

During the call, Sakura kept silently listening Saito's words for some minutes while walking around the room and biting her nails.

"Okay. Got it. Thank you." , she said while hanging up the call.

She then looked at Hina and Kai.

"Boys, it seems like Yuki Nakamura is searching for both of you. Saito said that scared for your life and that she's trying to contact Kai's parents." Sakura said in a nervous tone.

Kai felt a shiver down all his spine, while Hina's grip on Kai's arm tightened a little, sign of her discomfort.

"What? And what should I do now?" He asked, with a scared tone of voice.

"Why didn't she call me personally? If my parents might know about this… my life would be completely over… even they would be in danger." Kai thought in his mind.

Sakura sighed.

"I didn't even have the time of asking to Saito. He had to immediately hang up the call. The entire police is searching for the both of you. Nobody is following Haruto." She said, while throwing a fist into the wall, almost breaking it.

But she was angry for another reason.

She wasn't mad about the fact that Yuki Nakamura was trying to search for Kai and Hina; instead, Sakura was angry because she didn't try to catch Haruto, the real culprit who kidnapped an innocent girl.

Then, Kai lowered his gaze to the floor while Hina didn't speak a single word.

Yuna was still in silence.

Then, Akira spoke.

"And what about me?" She asked to Sakura.

"You… I don't know. I think that you should stay safe here." Sakura said with a low voice.

"EH? IN THIS DISGUSTING PLACE? NO!" She yelled.

Then, another silence filled the room until another call arrived.

This time, it was Kai's phone that was ringing.

Everyone's attention moved on him.

He picked up the telephone and saw that detective Saito called.

"Oh, it's Detective Saito." He said.

Hina was still clinging to his arm in silence.

"Is he stupid or what? Couldn't he call me?" Sakura said.

Then, Kai answered the call.

"Yes?" He said after putting the phone closer to his ear.

"Boy, listen to me and don't say anything. You and your girlfriend must run away from there. I know where you are, and also Yuki Nakamura. If you want to be safe, get out from there and wait for the police on the grass, okay? Just be fast before they arrive where you are!!" Saito said.

Kai didn't even have the time of reply that the call ended.

Hina released the grip on his arm and took some steps back.

Her expression was still normal and innocent.

Then, Kai put his phone back in his pocket and looked at Sakura.

"Saito said that me and Hina have to go since the police is after us, there's no time for explanations." Kai said, with a determined but scared tone.

But Saito didn't mention about the "protagonist" of this crime scene: Yuna.

Kai expected Saito to ask about his friend since the official reason of why the police was coming was because of Yuna.

So, Kai took a rapid glance at Yuna and then whispered: "You're coming with us too, okay?"

Yuna's eyes widened in surprise, but she nodded her head, with some scared eyes.

Then, Kai turned his glance towards Sakura and Akira.

"Thank you for everything, we'll update later, okay?" He said before bowing his head.

Sakura and Akira smiled at him and Hina's aunt said: "okay, just let me know what happens."

"Yeah. Update us." Akira said.

Then, Kai grabbed both Hina and Yuna's hand and walked outside the bunker.

They quickly found themselves standing on the grass and then walked away from that place.

One strange thing was that the wooden door was open, but nobody seemed to notice.

Then, when they were at a safe distance, Kai, Hina and Yuna stopped walking in order to wait for someone to arrive.

"We have to wait here." Kai said.

Hina and Yuna just nodded and smiled at him.

But his girlfriend never stopped looking his hands holding Yuna.

A big wave of jealousy enveloped her heart.

But she knew that Kai wasn't doing this because he liked Yuna, so she tried her best to hide her possessive feelings.

After some minutes, the loud sound of a helicopter who came from above them echoed in their ears, making the three of them raising up their heads.

Then, a loud and amplified voice coming from it spoke.

"Don't move!!! Don't move!!!" The voice said.

They had no other choice.

They just raised up their hands until the helicopter landed at a safe distance from them.

Kai's soul started to tremble as he knew that he had to face Yuki Nakamura once again.

But this time, he was with Hina.

He started to think about what kind of possible excuse he could say to her.

She was one of the smartest people existing in the world so tricking her wouldn't have been an easy task…
