Late afternoon the next day...
Mero's group finally arrived from their brief trip through the area about to be auctioned the next day.
As they entered the main avenue of this city, they immediately noticed the increased flow of people, carriages, and animals.
"From the looks of it, many people will be attending the auction..." One of the servants walking beside Mero's carriage commented to another fellow of similar status.
Meanwhile, Mero stood inside his carriage next to his father's servant, face to face with Tenur.
"Young master, I wonder if Ife has received your contact?"
"I think so. I only identified myself at the end of the scroll, so upon receiving my letter, she probably thought it was something from my cousin... So I guess she must still be in the city." Mero replied, looking out at the street through the curtains of his carriage.
