She was like a caged animal as she paced around the room. She knew she had to do something. But honestly, she had no idea.
"Damnit, Jules! What now!" She mumbled in the silence, hearing only herself think.
She could not help but wonder if Damon was still looking for her. It had been what? Hours? Days? She did not even know how long she had been away from her family, especially her son, Oliver.
Would her husband even bother to pay the ransom?
Of course, he would. Damon would do everything to save her. Her mind nagged at her, chastising her for even thinking about it.
"He loves me." Jules wanted to believe that. Even though she had never heard him say those words, she knew she had felt it. Damon would never abandon her.
She had to stay strong and keep fighting. She could never give up. Her husband and her son were still waiting for her to come home.
