Chapter 68 - Accelerator Attack

Kuroko felt very disappointed when she saw Mikoto just leave her at the Tokiwadai Dormitory right after she was throw from the Taxi. Kuroko feels that Mikoto has betrayed her so Mikoto can be with Touma, because Kuroko knows about the feelings that Mikoto has for Touma, because Mikoto always talks about her defeat against Touma and one day she will beat Touma in the future and she always talks about all these things with passion, plus every time Kuroko asks Mikoto whether she has feelings for Touma or not,

Mikoto always denied it emphatically with a flushed face.

As someone who really knows Mikoto, Kuroko knows about Mikoto's tsundere nature. And she was well aware that when Mikoto denied that she denied her feelings for Touma, it meant that Mikoto really really liked Touma.

Kuroko doesn't know why Mikoto fell in love with Touma, but what is clear is that Touma's existence is something that she can't accept right now. Because Touma had stolen the the person she really liked.

But Kuroko herself realizes that if she tries to do something really bad to Touma then she will get into trouble, because Touma is the older brother of her very scary boss in Judgment, Kotori.

Even though they were both Level Four Espers, Kotori's level of mastery of strength and destructiveness of Esper powers were on a completely different Level than hers. So it was impossible for Kuroko to win against Kotori no matter what.

Plus, when she used to spar against Touma in one of the physical training grounds for Judgments. Touma beat Kuroko very easily with only his martial arts skills without using Esper powers at all. To the extent that Kuroko had thought that it was impossible for Touma that he was a Level 0 Esper.

So Kuroko decided that she should try to find another way to keep Touma away from Mikoto, because violence was not a good solution to achieve what she wanted.

In the taxi that brought Mikoto to Yuragi Sou. Mikoto feels very relieved, because finally she can leave Tokiwadai Dormitory and go to her new residence where ahe can get more freedom than when she lived in Tokiwadai Dormitory which has very strict rules.

It's not that she doesn't like living in Tokiwadai Dormitory, but the rules in Tokiwadai Dormitory made hef experience a lot of difficulties plus during her stay in Tokiwadai Dormitory she had to maintain her reputation as a Level Five Esper ans ojou-sama persona all those things made Mikoto feel very stressed and couldn't relax at all.

When Mikoto was busy thinking about what she would do after she arrived at Yuragi Sou. She didn't even realize that the taxi she was currently in was not taking her to Yuragi Sou, but to another place where someone was already waiting for Mikoto, namely the number one Level Five Esper, Accelerator.

Bcause Accelerator felt very impatient to have to wait for Misaka 10032 to leave Yuragi Sou. Accelerator decided that the best way for him to reach Level Six was to kill Mikoto outright.

So he no longer has to waste his time waiting for Misaka 10032 to leave Yuragi Sou. A place that is hell for him.

But of course Accelerator couldn't just kill Mikoto. Because if he did that he would be in trouble that he couldn't even deal with even though he was the strongest Esper in Academy City.

Luckily Accelerator got information that Mikoto would be moving from the Tokiwadai Dormitory to a new residence by hacking the telephone and internet systems in the Tokiwadai Dormitory. Accelerator immediately used the information he received to his advantage. He bribed the taxi driver who wa called by Mikoto so that the taxi driver took Mikoto to a place where he would execute Mikoto with his own two hands.

Of course Accelerator didn't forget to hack all the CCTV around Tokiwadai and also those in Tokiwadai Dormitory so that no one could trace Mikoto's whereabouts when he killed her later.

"Hey sir driver why did you take me to this deserted place!" Mikoto shouted, realizing that the taxi driver wasn't taking her to Yuragi Sou like he told her to, but to another place where there was nothing but scrap metal and abandoned railroad tracks.

"Sorry miss, but I was paid by someone to take you to this place," said the taxi driver who with very fast movements got out of his taxi. "And whatever happens to you next is none of my business, because right now I have plenty of money to live happily for the rest of my life until I die."

The taxi driver ran very fast leaving the taxi in the direction where he had brought Mikoto to that place then he disappeared from sight Mikoto who was currently furious with the taxi driver.

When Mikoto was about to get out of the taxi, suddenly the taxi's door was forced open from the outside so that the door bent and came off its hinges.

And Mikoto's cold sweat was flowing profusely when she saw who opened the taxi door. Because the person who opened the door was someone much stronger than herself and possessed extremely terrifying Esper powers. Someone she really didn't want to meet, Accelerator's the most powerful Level Five Esper.

"Yo, number three, are you ready to die in front of me!" Accelerator saix with a truly hideous smile. "So that I can reach Level six as quickly as possible by making you the necessary sacrifice so I can become even stronger!"

"Hmm this is really weird," Kotori said while eating the peanut butter bread that Chitose prepared for breakfast. "Mikoto-san should have arrived earlier, because the distance from the Tokiwadai Dormitory to Yuragi Sou isn't that far. And only takes ten minutes by taxi."

"Did she have a bit of trouble on his way to Yuragi Sou," Shizuka said who was sitting next to Kotori in the school uniform she was already wearing complete with her favorite apron which she was wearing because earlier she was helping Chitose in making breakfast. "But I'm sure that she can overcome any problem that will come to her considering that in this Academy City she is one of the most powerful Espers."

"Mikoto-Chii is really strong, though," Kirika said whose mouth was full of food. "But not as strong as Touma-chii though, who is a monster in the truest sense of the word. Considering all the skills and powers he possesses, it's to the level where not a single Esper in Academy City can beat Touma-chii."

"I have a bad feeling, that right now Mikoto-san is having a problem that she can't handle," Kotori said with a worried look on her face. "I guess once again I have to ask for help from Onii-chan to find Mikoto-san's whereabouts."
