Chapter 53 - Rotting

Yukiko Karasuma doesn't know what to react anymore, seeing the ability of her husband Hiko Seijuro who continuously shows strange and unreasonable abilities. And because right now there were more important things than thinking about what reaction she should make when she saw what her husband was capable of.

Yukiko decided to postpone the reaction for later, because right now her main priority was to visit and meet her grandson whom she had never met before.

"Is our grandson Touma really treated in this hospital?" Asked Yukiko who was a bit doubtful whether the small hospital that was currently in front of her could take good care of her granddaughter.

"Yup, the hospital that belongs to the best doctor in the world, Heaven Canceller. Is where Touma was often treated when he was eight to ten years old where he still couldn't control his strength properly so he often got injured during practice," Answered Hiko who pulled his wife's arm while walking into the hospital.

"My method and the way of healing is different from Heaven Canceller Yukiko, even though I can cure your illness. I absolutely can't heal someone who is seriously injured and is on the verge of death. And Heaven Canceller is better than me when it comes to recovering from people who are dying or in a coma, after all, just so you know, I got instructions for healing yourself from Heaven Canceller," Replied Hiko. "I'm sure Touma's condition is currently stable, because of Heaven Canceller. In the lobby of the hospital, Heaven Canceller the owner of the hospital. Currently sitting on one of the chairs usually used by visitors to wait, while checking important documents that he must sign. As a professional doctor who has handled strange medical cases for years, for Heaven Canceller this is the first case for him to treat a case of slow decomposition that is not caused by a virus or bacteria as Touma is currently experiencing. Heaven Canceller was confused about what he should do to heal Touma. And of course the feeling of helplessness because he couldn't cure his patients annoyed him.

"Hmm, I know of some things in the supernatural world that can make a person's body experience the condition that Touma is currently in," Hiko said with cold sweat running down his face because Touma's current condition was beyond his expectations. "But I have to check for myself whether Touma is in a state I know of or not."

"If you can find out why Kamijou-kun's body is decomposing I will truly thank you Hiko Seijuro XIII," Heaven Canceller said as he bowed. "Because as a doctor, if I can't help my patients, then I don't deserve to call myself a doctor."

"Wow, Sensei you don't need to bowing your body like that," Hiko said when he saw Heaven Canceller bow his body. "You make me feel bad."

"Hey, Hiko-san, do you really know what causes our grandson body to decompose?" Asked Yukiko who interrupted the conversation between Hiko and Heaven Canceller because she was worried about her grandson condition even though she had never met her grandson at all.

"I can't be sure at all unless I check Touma's situation myself, Yukiko," Hiko replied. "That's why it would be better if we go to Touma's room right now so I can check on Touma's condition."

"Then let me take you two to Kamijou-kun's room," Heaven Canceller said who was quite surprised when he found out that the unknown person Hiko had brought was Yukiko Karasuma, the wife of Hiko himself, who Hiko often told about, when the two of them were chatting in hospital.

"Because the sooner Hiko Seijuro XIII meets Kamijou-kun, Kamijou-kun's condition will be better."

When Heaven Canceller walked in front of Yukiko and Hiko. He knew that the situation in the room where Touma was being treated would become chaotic, because the arrival of Hiko with his wife was something he did not expect. Heaven Canceller suspects that Hiko will come alone when visiting Touma.

But right now Hiko is coming with his wife, Heaven Canceller can be sure that Chitose seeing Hiko coming with Yukiko will make the atmosphere in Touma's room turn hot. Because Chitose has deep feelings for Hiko, even though until now Hiko still hasn't reciprocated Chitose's feelings. Because of Hiko's loyalty to Yukiko....
