Party Time!

Mr. Brookes Knocks on the huge mansion door. The door opens and a waiter is there, holding out his arm.

"Oh Mr. Brookes, Miss Elizabith was wondering when you would be showing up."

The man bows, and offers to take their jackets.

"Well, here I am. Also we will be keeping our jackets." Mr. Brookes walks past the waiter, and steps to the side.

Tori and Auston follow. Spinning on the spot, Mr. Brookes looks at his two bodyguards.

"Alright, Auston I would like you to go scout out who's all in the party then report back to me."

He looks down at his sleeves, then buttons up one.

"Tori, it is about to get pretty crowded. So, put your guard up, these people are ruthless cannibals."

Taking his jacket off, he throws it over his shoulder, making him seem like a playboy teen.

His gun holster is showing, making him look like a bodyguard himself.

'So much for "Concealed carrying"' Tori thought.

"It doesn't take much to make them go into a feeding frenzy." he looks up at the two boys. "So watch your backs." Auston nods, then walks away.

"Well, I guess it's time to go join the dogs," He smiles, but his eyes hold a repulsive look.

"Do I have to go with you sir? Couldn't I just go with–" Tori asks, feeling unnerved.

"No. It's party time." He pushes Tori down the hall, and into the main room.

The living room was more like a ball room. Its ceiling had a white and golden chandelier. With a great curled staircase, that has gold trim.

There were groups of people spread out across the room.

But to Tori, it was too many to his liking. Mr. Brookes struts down the stairs, with his jacket swaying as he walks into the room.

People look, and whisper as he walks into the middle of the room.

"Who's that man?" says a woman, who was watching.

"Oh that's Mr. Brookes. He's the boss of Southside Bodyguard Unit. He's the best one there." relies on another woman, with a breath of awe.

After he disappears behind a group of people, the two women turn their attention to Tori, who was a few seconds behind the short man of the night.

"And him?" she asks with eagerness and wonder. Her friend has a look of surprise, watching them both reappear.

"Oh that must be a new hire. I have never seen him before."

"He's gorgeous."

"I know, Mr. Brookes has the hottest bodyguards. I don't know where he finds the good ones." then she sighs. "Too bad he never sells."

"Damn, I wouldn't mind buying one." she sighs.

The women watched the two men, who were sneaking around groups of people toward the food table.

"I know." a woman pauses for a moment.

"Oh and they are also all teens." she pouts a bit, watching Mr. Brookes turn around, and talk to the tall blue haired kid.

Her friend turns to her, confusion on her face

.

"What do you mean, that handsome guy is a teenager?"

"Most likely. The oldest on his team, besides Mr. Brookes himself, is 17.'' She takes a drink from the glass of wine she's holding.

They both stare at the two men, who were standing by themselves.

Tori stiffly looks around. People are staring, talking, laughing away.

They also all had extra people around them. Most likely servants. He hears bit of conversations.

"Yes, and how much would she be?"

"The least I can do is $1,300."

"Oh come one, she's not even worth $800."

"Then what about him, he's good at his job."

'I see what he means by dogs,"'Tori says to himself.

As he looks around, he sees a girl across the room.

She has a small form, with long brown hair. She was wearing a simple blue dress that made her look taller than she actually was. The dress also brought out her gray eyes, with long eyelashes. The girl was staring at Tori, and on seeing his sunglasses facing her, she blushes slightly and looks away.

Just then, a woman slips up on Mr. Brookes, taking Tori's attention back to his boss.

"Well, hello. Mr. Brookes." says the woman with a high pitched voice.

"Hello, Ms. Kampell." Mr. Brookes gives her a small bow.

"Oh don't give me that bull." She waves his bow off.

"Still as mean as ever." He smirks, grabbing a drink from another passing tray.

Sniffing the liquid inside, he deems the cup worthy, and takes a drink, raising an eyebrow at Ms. Kampell.

"Really, you think that Elizabith would poison the drink?" she crosses her arms, and stares at him intently.

"Oh no, not her. More like … you would." He says it without concern. Ms. Kampell watches him take another drink, then notices Tori standing awkwardly next to him, her eyes widening, seeing his tall stature.

"And I thought you only had teens as your bodyguards. Not 20 year-olds." she says, sliding closer to Tori.

Tori looks down at her, then over to Mr. Brookes, repulsed by her being so close. He gives a slight shrug, in which Tori returns with a look of daggers.

Mr. Brookes stops himself from laughing. Ms. Kampell studies Tori, with desire in her eyes.

"This is Tori, He's the newest member of my unit. And he's 17 actually." He crosses his arms, while moving his coat off his shoulder.

She gets a look of surprise.

"Wait, Really? He's only 17?" she asks with amazement. "Where did you find him?"

'This woman really be talking about me as if I'm for sale.' Tori says annoyed, but keeps his face calm.

"I can't give you that, Ms. Kampell." he pauses then adds with fake humor in his voice, "And yet, you always ask. You know my policy, don't you?" Mr. Brookes narrows his eyes, wth irritation, watching her study Tori.

"I just want to get myself a good guard instead of the buffoon I have," she defends herself.

'Damn ugly vulture.' Tori says to himself. Mr. Brookes gets a tap on his shoulder.

"Sir, the car is all locked up, and the place is secure." Auston says, standing in between Tori and their boss.

"OH, Hello Auston. How are you today?" the vulture of a woman, asks.

Auston looks at her for a moment then back at Mr. Brookes.

"Mr. Brookes, Ms, Elizabeth is looking for you," ignoring the old bat, (even though she is 32.)

He side-glances again at Ms. Kampell, who was back staring at Tori.

Tori could feel her hawk-like glaze on him. Then he feels a hand on his shoulder.

It was Mr. Brookes.

"Well, a lady calls, Let go Tori." he smiles again at the woman, then pushes Tori away, with Auston following them. As he walks, he leans over and whispers to Ms. Kampell, without Tori and Auston hearing.

"Thanks for the rat poison, this was delicious." he smiles, with a vehement expression.

Ms. Kampell continues to look ahead, as Mr. Brookes continues to walk by.

Ms. Kampell was joined by a man, who appeared suddenly at her side. He bows his head as she watches the three men leave.

"I want to you to watch Mr. Brookes new recruit like a hawk." The man nodes, then leaving as quickly as he showed.
