Ronnie’s POV
Sunday morning is quiet in our house. Nancy and I work in silence, cleaning from last night’s party. Luckily there’s not much to clean other than some empty cups, cans, and plates from snacks. Nancy’s sweeping the floors, and I’m getting what few dishes there are done.
I need to talk to Nancy about Carter and how he acted last night. He was an absolute menace the entire time he was here. Insulting not only me but also our guests. And I know the way he showed up drunk extremely upset Nancy.
I’m not sure when a good time would be, though. Nancy doesn’t seem to be in the best mood based on how aggressively she’s sweeping. It looks like she’s trying to sweep the whole floor away with how hard she’s pushing the broom.
After I clean the last bowl, I turn around and watch Nancy. I wonder if she’s more upset about Carter showing up or Sabrina.
