Awakening

How much time has passed? A question I would be asking myself for eternity if I could. But the darkness that surrounded my vision covered more than just eyes. My ears and all the ways for me to feel anything also disappeared. However, the time has come, an eye opened in the vast darkness. I could feel something after a long time. Almost like a rebirth, a vision. A new life with another feeling. Or rather lack of such. I am laying here, on a cotton bed. Still unable to see, but already fully feeling air and things around me.
