"As they left the hotel, Tara looked up to see that Liam was still frowning, so she reluctantly suggested, "How about you carry me on your back?"
At her words, Liam's eyebrows finally relaxed and he immediately bent down to squat halfway.
Tara gave a delighted smile and promptly leaned her body against his back. As Liam rose and sized up her weight, his eyebrows furrowed again, "You've lost quite a bit of weight."
"Isn't being lighter a good thing?" Tara intertwined her hands on his chest and tilted her head to look at his side profile, "…This way, it's easier for you to carry me."
Liam tightened his arms around her, turned to look at her petite face, and said, "From now on, you have to eat at least one more bowl of rice every day."
His tone was assertive, causing Tara to smile gently and hug him tighter. This scene reminded her of a similar moment in Central Park, New York the previous year. The conversation was almost identical.
