“Wait… what trace is that?” Chaplu asked, pointing towards a long, tumbling grass. It was as if someone was being dragged from this area out onto the beach. Toon shone his torch brightly on the sharp grassy peaks to see a bright red thick liquid sticking to the leaves of the grass...it was human blood!
“Someone must have been dragged from here. Let's go see in case he might survive," Zen suggested. Without waiting to hear anyone's answer, the student walked in front of Toon and Chaplu along the path where the grass fell, leading to the beach. The trace also appeared as a long stretch until it stopped at a point on the sand that was in different color from the others. It was dark like wet sand and embossed, like something had just been buried.
