Prologue

I thought I was lucky. I thought this time things would go my way. I thought I could be happy. Turns out I was completely wrong. How did everything go so wrong?

Let me explain a bit, my name is Jake Grady and I was reincarnated into one of my favorite game worlds Pokemon. For the first couple years everything was amazing I had a loving family, friends, and happiness.

But all that changed rather abruptly which lead up to where I am now, sitting in a dark alley covered in blood wearing tattered clothes. I've been hiding from everyone for a few days, after all I did try to kill someone, don't get me wrong the guy had it coming but that's not the most important thing.

I haven't eaten anything since my escape and the only thing i have with me that I could eat is a Rattata I managed to kill with a pocket knife. I quickly skinned and gutted it, holding the raw meat I sit there trying to decide whether or not this is worth it, if I should turn myself in and try and get my side of the story out. After a few minutes of internal debate I bite off a chunk of raw meat and think to myself that I have officially hit rock bottom and I will make all those responsible pay, with that thought I heard a sound that made all my future endeavors so much easier.
