The woman in the suit got up. "Doctor Hans will arrive soon. Wait a minute!" said Sofia in reply to a gentle nod by Nico.

"Sam!" Call Nico to his secretary.

The man standing in the doorway replied. "Yes, sir!"

"Take care of Sofia, be careful on the street. I don't want anything bad to happen to my wife," Nico said.

"Please calm down, I'll take good care of Miss Sofia," Sam said, wrapping his arms around Sofia's slender waist and then passing.

A tinge of smiles flashed from both corners of Nico's lips. Slowly the man rested his body on the patient's bed.

The phone that was on the nightstand vibrated without pause. Nico groped the flat object that was on the nightstand next to the end of the bed, then pressed the green button on the screen. Nico's mobile phone was made specifically for the visually impaired. It made it easier for Nico to use it.

"Hello!" greeted Nico to the man behind the phone.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Nico, this is Secretary Aris. Doctor Hans contacted me, he couldn't handle Mr. Nico's surgery today. So I asked another doctor to handle your surgery. How you don't mind, do you?" asked the man behind the phone.

"Okay, sir! Soon I will ask the Doctor from Fatmawati Hospital to come there now," replied the Secretary who works at Nico's company.

Exactly one year ago, when Nico and Sofia had just returned home after celebrating a New Year's Eve party in the peak area. "I am the doctor who will handle your surgery today. Introduction to my name Doctor Firman," said the young man in a friendly tone.

"Yes already, let the nurse check all your circumstances first. I will prepare an operating room for Mr. Nico," Said Doctor Firman. A moment later, the sound of his shoes was getting away.

"Let's check your condition first, yes!" said the woman's voice, which sounded very soft.

"Okay!" replied Nico.

A nurse began to check Nico's condition starting from blood pressure and all the reports that will be needed by Doctor Firman on the operating table later.

A few moments later after the nurse finished checking Nico's condition. Nico was ready to be taken to the procession room. The cold air welcomed Nico's arrival in the distinctively scented room. The sound of medical devices clashing with each other can be heard entering Nico's sense of hearing.

'Sofia, Alisa, Daddy will soon be able to see you again.

"Mr. Nico, we are from now on, the operation?" said Doctor Firman in reply with a gentle nod by Nico.

It felt like a syringe pierced Nico's shoulder. This was followed by injections in Nico's other body. Not waiting long, Nico felt his body suddenly feel very sleepy, and then everything felt dark.

Again, Nico's heart was increasingly wringing to hear his private secretary call affectionately to his wife.

The woman folded both of her hands with pursed lips.
