Chapter 28

Nico's breath hitched, his jaw clenched.  Both hands clenched, ready to punch.  "Then who ordered you?"  Nico hissed dropping a piercing gaze at the woman kneeling beneath his feet.

  Bibik sobbed, her shoulders moving up and down.  Every now and then she brushed her cheeks which were wet with tears flowing down the river. "Forgive me sir, I really don't dare refuse Mrs. Sofia's request!"  whispered Bibik scared.

  Nico pulled the corners of his lips into an annoyed smile.  In fact the man already knew who was behind all this and in fact he also knew that the cyanide coffee was meant for him.

  "Shut your mouth! You maid doesn't know profit!"  Sofia joked that suddenly appeared from the veranda of the house.

  "Mrs!"  Instantly Rachel turned to the woman who was walking fast with a flushed face from behind her back, past her.
