Chapter 37: Reflection and Preparation

Sitting in the lounge area of Star labs, was Damien. Still wearing his suit, but without the helmet and gauntlets. Both of which lay on the table in front of him as he watches video of all the events that took place earlier that night. While he does that the nanites in his gauntlets and computer in his helmet are backing all information, and data gained to the main server in Star Labs. As he sits back, Damien contemplates all the actions he took tonight.

Damien- *Of all the things that happened tonight, I could've prevented all of it. I could've saved more lives. I could've let Sterns live. But if I do too much, I ruin the future. Okay. Now isn't the time to focus on what could have been. I saved who I could in a situation that could have been worse. I prevented the creation of another super intelligent villain. All the while preventing any knowledge of Banner's work, Stern's research and other info from getting into anyone else's hands. I did What I had to and now is the time to focus on the future. I have 2 more years before the Invasion.*

Giving a long sigh. Damien gets up and walks to the computer terminal on the back wall of the lounge. He starts going through all the data and scheduling the video to be sent to news and media in New York a few days later. Monitoring the reactions of SHIELD and Dr. Banner's current location.

Damien-" Alfred, pull up the plans for expansion for Wayne Industries and all subsidiary companies."

Alfred-" Right away sir. Here are the plans for expansion and the current projects the companies are working on."

The animated figure disappeared from the screen as numerous files and diagrams began to flood it. The documents included reports from both the Wayne synthoid and Mercy. Including current states that facilities are currently active or being constructed in. Profits from the subsidiaries and projects that are currently waiting approval. Included all research and blueprints on file. Spending some time reviewing the info, he also puts in an order for Wayne Security to sell products to businesses in New York to fortify buildings and shelters.

Finished with the reports and sending new directives to the Wayne synthoid to change the direction of the companies, Damien looks over at the clock.

Noticing that it is 12:30 am on June 5, Damien decides to do some quick designs for version 2 of his super suit. Trying to incorporate more nanites and functions to the suit overall. His new design uses the nanites to weave the unstable molecule fabric into a full body suit. The nanites then form a layer over that adds additional metallic protection. While at the same time being able to transform into any device needed. Effectively replacing the gauntlets and coverings for his boots. As the nanite material would be able to cover the hands and feet in a thin coating of material. Which can transform at will to gauntlets or repulsors. Excited with the thought and design, Damien makes a few notes and has Alfred begin a search and scan for all metallic compounds that would be strong enough to use in such a suit.
