Chapter 38: Aftermath

Over the next month a lot of things have happened. Starting with the news and media airing commentary on video of the Hulk vs. Blonsky fight. Every News channel painted Blonsky as a hero who underwent an experimental procedure to fight off Hulk, who was destroying a neighborhood. Even going so far as to describe Hulk as a mindless monster, who only knows how to destroy things. These stories, reports, and commentaries continued on for 3 days before all news and media platforms received multiple videos edited to show all the moments Hulk saved people and the destruction caused by Blonsky. The videos became so widespread that the News stations had to make retractions on their comments and descriptions of the fight. Some people even began to see the Hulk as a hero instead of the monster the media originally wanted people to associate him as.

While all that was going on, many organizations and companies were trying to find the origins of the videos. As soon as they are discovered and deleted from online, another copy is uploaded on another platform at the same time. The most that was found was that a few bots using variations of the same accounts are continuously posting the videos.

A month later, on July 5, Tony Stark goes into a bar to talk to General Ross. As a consultant for the Avengers initiative, Tony goes to talk to General Ross in order to recruit Emil Blonsky. Only to annoy the General and get rejected. With Blonsky out of the options, SHIELD continues to monitor the Hulk for a possible recruit.

During this time Damien was able to make a bit of progress in his projects. Finding a way for the nanobots for his suit to weave the unstable molecule fabric on their own and retract it as well. He was able to further spread the subsidiaries of Wayne Industries to other States in the country as well.

Due to her hard work, Damien is also making preparations to trust Mercy with more important work and projects.

With all the things going on, Damien is also preparing for the start of High School. Waiting for the time he can truly start to change things for the better. All the while, doing secret missions for practice and experiments. At the same time, expanding his search for corrupt officers and government officials. Gathering all evidence and information to prove their criminal acts.
