People are usually raised in a house with their guardian. Some of you may be privileged enough to be raised in a mansion having all kinds of gadgets you may need. And some, live in the streets. But have you ever heard of someone being raised in the wild? In the jungle itself?
Probably, probably. Does it ring a bell? Of course it does, it's the one and only Tarzan. One of our childhood sweethearts along with Jane. A guy who was raised by gorillas in the jungle. Who survived his life with their help ever since he was a kid. Tarzan who in all of his whole life didn't even encounter some human interaction or anything related with being human. Not until, Jane came. And you know the rest.
As for our main character, he was also raised in the jungle. As strong and as wild in the life in there. He was all left alone in there being an innocent jungle man he is. He doesn't know how to speak and most likely he doesn't know how to read or anything. Just surviving is the only thing he knows. He used to have parents just like everybody else but before his eyes can be opened in this world, they died. Surviving all alone inside the jungle. Meet the main character of this story, Errol.
Running around inside the tall grass and trees, he went jumping, looking out for some food he can hunt for this day. Going sideways to go in front of the wild pig waiting for it to calm down from running and then he hit him with the knife he was holding, slitting it's throat as blood continues to gush down from it.
When the pig calmed down as it was already dead, he heaved him onto his shoulder carrying it to his house. Walking down the path to his house, the sun was already setting down. The main character couldn't resist but to watch the beautiful sunset but he can't waste time for the sun is his only light source. He placed down the pig down to make a way for the wood.
Readying the fire, he placed the wood where the pig was stuck and rolled it. He was casually rolling it on the fire and after waiting as the sun had already set down. He took a bite, munching it like a hungry animal. He sat outside with the fire to keep him warm, looking up at the starry night. It was a majestic view.
As the fire died down, he went inside the house where lots of animals are sleeping in. He was, you can say, one with the nature and animals. They were his friends out in the wild. They kept him company. He was even friends with lions, the king of the jungle. And some tigers and other animals.
He took his torn blanket and slept on the floor. By the time he woke up it was already morning. The monkeys was playing with him making him smile and giggle as he watch them play inside his house making a total mess. But it didn't bother him. He doesn't even know what's different from being messy with clean anymore.
He went outside to eat the leftover pig he cooked last night along with his other friends. After doing so, he went to the nearby river to bathe himself up. Removing the entangled vines to purse his long hair and his clothing. He was also playing with the other animals in the water as he continues to bathe himself. It took him long enough for him to jump and dive under the river. Collecting stones and fishes he can eat up for later. When he finally felt tired and bored, he went up to dry himself and wear his clothes once again.
Going back to his house, he took the axe with him to cut some wood. Tagging along are some animal friends of his. He saw giraffes and elephants wandering around but it was what you consider 'normal' for him.
As he walk, he continues to pick some fruits he sees on his path. This day was pretty normal. Another normal day. It kept ongoing like that for another three whole hours. Just cutting some wood and eating the fruits he saw.
But suddenly, he felt the ground and trees shaking. The animals were running but panic wasn't even on his vocabulary. He went running to the other side to see what was happening but he only just stumbled by the big and running wild animals but he was persistent and with his utter confusion, he went looking to see what was the cause of all of that.
And what he saw, totally shook him him. There were humans and big machines that he saw for the first time in his life. But what anger him is that when he saw how they hurt his friends. They were captivating them making such loud cries. He felt his blood boil and went to save his friends.
They shouted and shocked to see a young man looking like in his mid 20's picking a fight like a raging wild animal.
"What in the fuck?!" The other guy shouted making everyone go to the scene.
"What's happening here?" A tall tanned guy asked and when his eyes landed on him, his eyebrow cocked up. "Well, it looks like we have some company." He said.
"Hey, we're trying to be nice here and we don't know how you got here but we want you to go and flee this scene and imagine that none of this happened, okay, young lad?" He told him but he got no answer from him. He was only looking at them with bloodshot eyes.
The tall guy scratched his head and took a step forward earning a growl from him making everyone stop on their tracks. "Oh, trying to act like a tough lion now."
"What's up with him?"
"Boss, if this goes on will be in big trouble." Said by the other.
They were talking and talking but he doesn't understand anything they were saying. As he felt like they are finally going, he went to untie the nets surrounding his friends which shock them more.
The tall guy sighed and ordered them, "Restrain him." Which got alot of different reactions.
"But boss—" The other one tried to interfere.
"I said," He roughly said. "Restrain him. Now." Ordering them once again and they did what they were told but he was tough. He was acting like one of the wild animals that has been in this forest for how long now.
They tried talking to him but it was no use. He would growl and fight back at them and as the boss gets impatient, he punched him on the stomach then hitting him on his nape.
"Cage him up." The boss said as he huff on his cigarette. Looking at the young lad's condition. He noticed something different about him and smirked when he got another crazy idea.
"We're auctioning him tomorrow."
