Pre-Anniversary Date

Benedict's POV

I was leaning on the door of Lisa's condo unit as I waited for her to come home. I know that I should have called Lisa to pick her up from her office, but I know she was driving her car, and it would be useless since we would not be in the same vehicle, so I opted to wait for her. And I can't deny that I am missing her like crazy because I can tell she was avoiding me after I told her that I couldn't be there for her tomorrow. She thought I had forgotten our anniversary, how can I forget that special day.

I know girls are very particular with special occasions, and I feel guilty, but I am here now, and I know everything will be alright between us. My initial plan was to surprise my girlfriend, and I am glad that my brother offered his help. I know that Richard is very busy nowadays after he's married to Ariana, but I could tell my brother is very happy now.
