The two maturing Siblings

Lin Shi coughed out a mouthful of blood, obviously, he was injured from the force of the explosion. Lin Yu and Lin Su Chen rushed up to him, their worried voice resounded out in the backyard which snapped Liuyun out of his thoughts.

"Father!/Daddy!"

The two siblings were worried about their father's health and they ignored the injuries they had, they touched the back of Lin Shi which caused him to cough out even more blood. They panicked and no longer dared to touch a single spot on Lin Shi, afraid to cause him even further harm. Liuyun ran towards Lin Shi and started to scan the body of Lin Shi, he soon confirmed the injuries of Lin Shi and heaved a sigh of relief.

Meridians slightly damaged, 60% of bones broken and injured artery veins. If any other doctors saw the injuries on Lin Shi's body, they would be shocked so badly that their souls would be scared out of their bodies. This caused fear to form within the hearts of Lin Yu and Lin Su Chen, but they did not dare to move even a step closer, afraid that they will disturb the concentration of their beloved little brother. Lin Yu stopped Lin Su Chen from rushing forward and shook his head. He explained about the medical abilities of Liuyun once more to her, embracing her in his warmth to cover the scene of her father being pierced by needles. If it was the normal Lin Su Chen, she would have blushed heavily and been too embarrassed, but now her mental state was disrupted by the sight of her father being so heavily wounded. She hugged her brother back and cried within the warm embrace of his arms.

Liuyun was too busy to notice the conflict of emotions between the siblings behind him, he did his all and focus on repairing the meridian, broken bones and artery veins. Lin Shi's face turned from a pale white weak face to a normal regular healthy-looking face, his expression relaxed more and he dozed off to rest.

Once he was done treating Lin Shi, he pulled out all the needles and applied bandages to him.

Liuyun was sweating all over and he plopped on the floor, exhausted from healing Lin Shi. Nature energy conversion was already a tough process to do yet on top of it he had to concentrate and heal someone as he converted his energy. It drained Liuyun mentally and the boy felt really nauseous from his own actions. He fell to the ground and closed his eyes to rest.

Yet, a bright smile remained on his face and there were no regrets on it. He managed to save his adopted father at the expense of just him being weak, it was a completely worthy trade in the eyes of Liuyun.

Lin Su Chen and Lin Yu walked up to Liuyun and helped him sit up properly, their hands were warm and brought a sense of comfort for the weakened boy. Tiredly opening his eyes, Liuyun saw the sight of Lin Su Chen and Lin Yu, affectionately helping him.

"Big… Brother, Big… Sister... "

Lin Su Chen heard his weakened voice and her eyes turned red with sadness, her little brother did everything he could to save their father…. But they were completely useless and ended up pushing the burden onto him. She softly pushed Lin yu away and gently hugged Liuyun, silently weeping and sobbing.

Lin Yu was also the same, he felt angry at himself for his incapabilities to protect his family. He embraced his two other family members and swore in his heart, to become stronger and reliable. He needs to be even more powerful, more reliable and shoulder the burdens of his family.

Lin Su Chen and Lin Yu quickly got up with Lin Su Chen carrying Liuyun back into his room to rest while Lin Yu carried Lin Shi. Today they realized their incapabilities and felt themselves maturing as a person, this is until later that Liuyun will realize, that today's incident will be a life changer in the future.

Night time…

Liuyun woke up in the middle of the night and saw the ceiling of his room, he was fully recovered and felt his stomach growling in hunger. Shi Xi Wei and Jia Yi appeared out from his body and took a seat at his tea table, they began to slowly drink some tea and turned to look at the weaken Liuyun before sighing in disappointment.
