"Umm...uh..." Tianxin shook her head desperately, pushing Chen Yiran away. As she gasped for breath, she pleaded with him. "Yiran... I'm sorry, really, I didn't do it on purpose!"
"Huh??" Chen Yiran looked at her, amusement filling his deep eyes. His gaze swept over the living room, then he asked casually, "What are you apologizing for?"
"I... I genuinely didn't know the gift I got you was that sort of doll..." Tianxin whined to Chen Yiran. "Seriously, the store I went to looked like a normal gift store. They sold plush toys, crystal trinkets, and stuff like that. The store owner suggested that I should order a clay doll modelled after a real person. But I thought it was too small. It was made of clay and therefore wasn't soft, large, or cuddly. That's why I asked her for a bigger doll that one could hug!"
"..." Chen Yiran was slightly taken aback. His dark and deep eyes looked at Tianxin with a complex expression.
