Chapter 81 Kiss Me, Nicholas

Blue/Ava's POV

I was about to leave the grocery store when the rain started pouring heavily. I bit my bottom lip as I glanced at my umbrella. I won't get wet, but the groceries will. I sighed heavily and watched the people running around, looking for a place to shelter.

I saw a taxi coming, I called it but someone got in first, making me groan. Argh!

Frowning, I patiently waited for another taxi when an unfamiliar car stopped in front of me. I'm not familiar with luxury cars but this gray car in front of me is definitely a Jaguar. The window rolled down and my lips parted upon seeing a familiar pair of dark orbs.

"Get in."

I blinked thrice, shocked. "Huh?"

His jaw clenched. He got out of the car and ran to me, ignoring the heavy rain which made me annoyed.

"I told you to get in—Ouch!"

He groaned and looked at me with his widened eyes after I hit his arm with my umbrella.

"Why did you do that?"
