Chapter 53 Rampage

At the end of the second phase of the exam, during the counting of applicant points, stood the warrior woman from Eden. She had just assaulted an exam assistant in protest of being told she couldn't advance to the next phase. The woman had a wild look in her eye, a steam of rage came from her face as she stood in defiance.

"Stop," a voice said as they came into view of the woman. She saw another assistant come near her with two others standing next to them. The main assistant speaking to the woman took a step forward as they held out their hand in a pausing motion. "You must stop now. Any violence at this stage is completely prohibited. If you continue, you will be arrested and barred from ever taking the exam again."

The words the assistant spoke were said as a warning, but the warrior woman could only take it as a threat. And in the state, she was in, teetering on the edge, she didn't take any form of threat lightly. She shot out her massive fist, punching the poor unsuspecting assistant. Her punch pushed him into the ground, squashing him like a bug.

The moment the assistant was attacked, the two others by his side put some distance between them and her. Also, all applicants that were the nearest to the woman started to back up in fear.

"What the hell?" some screamed. "She's a fucking monster!" others shouted as the woman's fist was still planted on the assistant's body. His two comrades that were with him decided to run forward. She saw this happening, then swung her rental weapon at them. The act was extremely illegal, but she didn't care at all. The two assistants dodged the attack effortlessly; one jumped high, the other went low.

As this was happening, while still laying in their same positions on the floor, were Jake and Zack. With the crowd in front of them becoming denser because of the commotion going on, it became harder to see. But what they could make out didn't look all that good.

"Aww shit," said Jake. "This isn't going to end well."

"Yeah, you're right. This is going to be bad," Zack responded.

Back to the two assistants: They dodged the incoming attack with ease; one jumped as the other slid on the ground. Even though they were only assistants there to help the exam run smoothly, they were all trained regularly in hand-to-hand combat. The two assistants aimed to take down the large woman in a second, but they were in for a rude awakening.

The first to land an attack was the one that went low. He slid, then kicked at her leg with all his strength. His attack mirrored an action that Zack tried to make earlier. And just like the boy, the assistant would understand how terrible a mistake that was. The moment he landed the attack, the assistant felt something crack in his own leg. Not only did he feel it, but he also heard it. His eyes began to bulge as he had to swallow the pain.

This wasn't going the way he thought it would. It was bad. "What the hell was she?" he thought.

He was just about to make his escape, he had to back away, get some distance, and rethink his plan of attack. But sadly, he wouldn't get the chance. The warrior woman reached out her free hand, putting the assistant's whole head in the palm of her hand, then she squeezed until a pop was heard.

Nearly every applicant screamed in utter terror. They ran, trampling over each other if they had to, trying their best to get away from the beast that just killed an assistant. While in the auditorium, another scream was heard, but not out of fear, but out of anger.

The assistant that went high screamed out the name of the assistant. "Joe!" he shouted in pure anger, as tears started to well up in his eyes. He struck the woman in the temple with a jab. He started attacking her relentlessly with jabs and kicks as he roared in anger.

"You fucking bitch! You animal! I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you!"

The muscular woman took each and every attack delivered by the vengeful assistant. Not a single one seemed to do any damage, but they kept attacking her, and each attack only angered her more. As the assistant kicked at her head, the warrior woman turned fully to face them. As she opened her mouth, biting down hard on their leg, this stopped them instantly.

Before the assistant could retaliate, the woman, with no sympathy, swung her head down to the ground fast, bringing the assistant who was trapped in between her jaw with her. They crashed into the ground as they screamed out in pain. But as they lay there on the ground, the woman's head came back up, but when she did, she still had the assistant's leg in her mouth.

"Holy shit," came from Zack. He and Jake were still laying there, now shocked beyond belief.

"What the hell," came from Jake, as Zack looked at the woman in awe. "Trying to figure out what she was," the warrior woman stood over the now handicapped assistants. She spit out their leg like spitting out a piece of used-up gum. As her victim lay bleeding on the ground, screaming while holding what was left of that leg, she saw the display before her it was sad it was pathetic, he seemed now like a wounded animal one that needed to be put out of his misery. So, she decided to swing her weapon down and relieve him of his miserable life.

She was going to kill him, but she wouldn't get the chance as another assistant rushed forward, blocking the blow. This assistant was a woman who snatched a rental weapon from an applicant, so she could have a fighting chance.

Seeing another insect in front of her enraged the woman from Eden. She gritted her teeth and snarled like a wild dog.

Before she could attack again, two more assistants rushed her from behind, both snagging their own rental weapons. Both at the same time brought theirs down quickly onto the warrior woman's exposed neck. But they too soon realized, as Zack did and all the other applicants she had fought did, that attacks such as that did little to nothing against her, even at vital points.

The two assistants' weapons shattered like glass, both of them only dealing barely a flesh wound on the woman's neck. The two were surprised, completely caught off guard. And they weren't the only ones; so was the female assistant that was still guarding against the beast of a woman's attack.

But not for long.

In an instant, the woman let go of her weapon, letting it fall to the ground as she lifted both of her arms, then shot them both backward. Her elbows collided with the two assistants that attacked her from behind, breaking both their noses, even cracking their skulls. Both assistants that tried to deliver a sneak attack were sent brutally flying.

All that was left was the female assistant that stood directly in front of the warrior woman. She towered over the poor girl. She had a strong stance, but even she could feel her body shaking, screaming at her to run away.

But she didn't listen. She defied her body's wishes and stood firm in her position. She had a job to do, and she would see it through.

Once the young female assistant got out of her own head, she then prepared to thrust her weapon forward towards the massive woman. But she moved too slow. Her body was so wrapped with fear that she didn't realize she was a couple of steps behind.

As she was putting her sword in a thrusting motion, she saw the woman lift her arm high, high to the sky, and this confused the assistant because she knew the woman's sword wasn't in her possession. She had dropped it.

As the assistant prepared to attack, she made sure it was still there by stepping on the downed weapon. So, she knew that the beast of a woman had no weapon in her hands, but still, she raised her arms as if she was about to prepare a devastating attack.

And she was.

Out of curiosity, as the assistant was thrusting her sword forwards, she looked at what weapon the woman had in her hands. And what she saw shocked her. It wasn't a weapon. It was not a weapon at all. It was a body, the same body of the assistant whose head was crushed in the palm of the woman's hand.

No one had realized that she was still holding onto the body. Now, she held the corpse with one hand by both legs as she was swinging it down.

The female assistant's eyes started to grow wide as orbs. The body of the dead assistant collided into her. The assistant was forced to crash into the ground. The impact had her head spinning. She unknowingly let go of her sword.

Her heart was pounding hard. She felt she was going to die. But sadly, the onslaught wasn't finished.

The massive beastial woman used that dead corpse to hit the poor assistant over and over. Each strike hurt like hell. Everyone watched as this assistant was brutalized.

The attack only finished when the woman lifted her arm up to do another strike, but the body she was using as a makeshift weapon broke apart, falling to the ground in pieces.

The massive woman had a look of irritation and disgust on her face as the poor assistant she was just brutalizing lay on the ground, broken, coughing up blood.

The warrior woman huffed and puffed for a moment, till something, or someone, or better yet, someones caught her eye.

She looked out unto the sea of frightened applicants in front of her. When she saw them, she caught a glimpse of the two rats that deceived her. Her eyes were filled with rage while she smiled a devilish grin.

"There… You… Are," she said in her thick accent.

"Uh oh," came from Jake.

"I think she sees us," Zack laughed nervously.

"You don't say. You think she's mad?"
