A Godslayer in a School c59

April 1

Akatsuki Kojou grimaced as he looked at the fur and chainmail-dressed teen before him. For some reason, his instincts are screaming at him to be careful.

Whoever this guy was, he was dangerous even to him.

"Your familiars are powerful, but your nature as a pacifist Japanese is getting in the way of utilising their abilities fully." As the opponent said to him, he swung his crossguard sword around. He cut the ground with sheer shockwaves without any effort.

"Oh yeah? Even so, I can still fight!"

The Vampire Primogenitor dashed at the fur-clad sword-wielding teen.

"Direct assault? Someone arrogant."

With a wicked grin, he swung his sword at the dashing teen.

Arcs of lightning slammed into a white-haired teen, sending him flying into a tree.

"You wield supernatural powers. Not just familiars but basic augmentations of strength, speed, regeneration and even reflexes, but you are afraid of utilising those powers, aren't you?"

As the sword-wielding teen said that, he walked over to the vampire, slowly standing up.

"What of it?"

"Nothing, really. I think this power would be much more useful to me. Such power is wasted in your hands." The swordsman casually commented as he was preparing for something.

At that moment, Akatsuki Kojou felt a cold shiver pass through him. He tried to dodge, tapping into his power, but he was too late to do that. A crushing kick slammed into his gut.

He felt how his organs and bones erupted on the spot—slamming right back into the same tree.

'W-What power!? How strong is this guy!?'

"Greek legends tell stories about demigods and their absurd feats. Breaking your body is a child's play in comparison." With an indifferent tone, he told him what he just experienced.

Cough

The White-haired teen coughed up a lot of blood. Before he can do anything, the sword is stabbed into his gut.

"Pillage."

A feeling of someone ripping his very existence away washed through Akatsuki Kojou.

"Agh!!!"

The guy tried to struggle, but energy flowed from him through the sword right into the fur-clad teen.

The process lasted for several moments before everything was drained from him.

What was left of the Vampire Primogenitor was a husk of a man with grey hair.

"Hmm~ so this is it. I need to integrate this power properly." The sword wielding teen softly inspected his hand as he felt new power which needs integration.

"Nooo!!!" A girl's voice shouted from the back. The fur-clad teen needed to step aside as the girl tried to kick him.

"You killed Sempai!"

"Of course I did. Kaleid Blood is wasted on him."

With an angry roar, she used her spear to try to stab the swordsman.

"Please. As if this would work." He casually caught the spear before yanking it away.

With an angry look, she jumped back and used hand-to-hand combat.

The girl tried to attack him, but once again, she was slapped aside—this time, with more force.

"You should question your life choices. Being a blood bank for a useless vampire is something you should consider changing." After saying that, he proceeded to fly away.

Raynor floated back to his group. Erica and Liliana were back, with Ena watching over La Folia.

"Who was it? I saw some lightning being used." The blonde knight asked as she saw torrents of lightning descending from the sky.

"It was Vampire Primogenitor. I took his power." The Godslayer commented as he inspected the energy he had.

He still needs to integrate it into his being.

La Folia's eyes widened as she didn't expect him to deal with a primogenitor that easily!

"...I wonder how this will work? What kind of power boost will it be?" Erica, with an intrigued voice, commented.

"Yes. Godslayers never branched out before." Liliana agreed, as she was intrigued just as much. Part of her is gushing with ideas to write a smutty book with a vampire as the protagonist now!

"Yes. For now, let's take a break. I have to do something." Raynor nodded as he motioned for them to relax. He walked over to the side and sat down on a boulder.

He crossed his legs and closed his eyes.

This strange new type of energy has given him a peculiar contrast to two kinds of energy he has.

Because of how powerful godslayers are, they can develop an array of strange powers. From what he remembers Erica telling him, his Chinese half-sister developed some sort of Xianxia style of powers.

If she can develop techniques, so can he.

He imagined his body entirely of lightning; to control this much lightning, he decided to add clouds which house the lightning. To move these lightning clouds, he added wind, which he used to guide them to the centre of his being.

Not that this simple imaginary play did anything.

Instead, he recalled that he needed some sort of mantra or a chant. Add meaning to his actions? Something like that.

'Something similar to Emiya's style of chant?'

For a second, he pondered. He could try using words and imagination to affect the mana.

Raynor recalled that Erica and Liliana use chants for specific spells.

What he wants should not be different.

'Let's see if I have what it takes.'

"I wonder what our Lord is doing?" Liliana asked with crossed arms. She was watching closely.

"Do you think we will become vampires? Honestly, I am intrigued by this." Erica commented with an amused smile.

"Considering how Olympus' authority works, that power could spread to the rest of us," Liliana pondered.

"Normally, yes. But this is different, is it not? Princess, how do Vampire Primogenitor powers work?" Erica asked La Folia.

"Vampires have what is called Blood Servants. If a vampire continuously drains blood from the same person, that person is considered a blood Servant.

They inherit basic vampire abilities like immortality and more robust vitality. If one takes it further, they can become vampires, too, but you would need to intake the offered blood.

However, such a ritual is almost like marriage in vampire customs."

As La Folia explained, Liliana was scribing it down furiously. Ideas were pouring down thanks to La Folia's explanations.

"Hoh. Interesting. Vampires are much easier to sell to a mundane school. It could work as a great cover instead of using Godslayer's title all the time." Erica pondered how they could use it for their school's cosplay they do.

The blonde was wondering about the benefits of such powers. At the same time, La Folia wonders if the people of their world are as weird as these three girls.

She had never seen someone as dedicated to a man and his whims as these three.

"The only Primogenitor close to this area is the Fourth Primogenitor—the Kaleid Blood. It's the strongest Vampire in history. It is said that this Primogenitor wields 12 extremely powerful familiars."

As La Folia was speaking, the wind started to pick up as clouds gathered in the sky. They began to spin and create a hole in the middle.

It was like the eye of the storm.

Blue lightning, followed by golden, started to dance around him as a pillar of light rushed into the sky.

At that moment, Raynor's mana went out of control as the island started shaking.

"Do you think he fused with the Vampire powers he acquired?"

Liliana asked as she used a tree to hold herself. Raynor seems to have acquired better ways to channel his immense magical reserves.

One of the side effects of being a Godslayer is that one needs immense mana to wield his Authorities. Does this mean Raynor's mana will be used to power Vampire Primogenitor powers? Or is it more like one is supporting another?

But it was much more than that. Raynor was merging those two into one hybrid, which never should have existed in the first place.

Kaleid Blood, the Fourth Primogenitor, was created to kill Gods. With Godslayers already existing powers, these two merged and created something abnormal, something absurdly terrifying.

With a burst of shock waves. Raynor opened his eyes. They were glowing red with sky-blue pupils.

As he smiled, one could see the fangs of a vampire. His smile was gone as he inspected his hands.

Waves of sounds and two types of lightning danced between his fingers.

"Something is missing. My sixth, tenth and Twelve familiars are missing."

"Regulus Aurum and Al-Nasl-Minium have been awakened, but the rest are not listening to me."

Raynor realised he could channel their powers through himself as a medium or summon them regularly through a chant.

It was similar to how his power usually works.

Regulus Aurum is the Lion of Gold, representing the lion constellation. It allows Raynor to manipulate lightning with his divine lightning mixed. There is no stronger lightning.

While his other familiar, Al-Nasl-Minium, the bicorn of deep crimson, allows manipulation of sound and frequencies. With his Godslayer constitution, this power could easily shatter bonds between atoms to make someone cease to exist.

The best part is that these powers are not locked behind some sort of limit.

As long as these familiars are not hurt beyond a certain point, he can access their powers. Unlike Akatsuki Kojou, he makes himself a proper medium to channel such absurd power

His constitution creates synergy with Vampire Primogenitor's powers he acquired. It's something like using a proper car frame for this V12 engine. Before, with Akatsuki Kojou it was like using a Golf's frame for a Ferrari's engine. It just breaks apart.

"Answer my call, as successor to Kaleid Blood, awaken, Regulus Aurum, Al-Nasl-Minium!"

With a burst of golden lightning and crimson-red flames, two car-sized familiars manifested in front of Raynor.

"...So cool…"

Raynor was going through his Vampire nerd moments when he was playing Skyrim a while ago. But this is so much better!

The pair of familiars, which were quite massive, looked at their new owner.

After looking at them for a couple of minutes, he dismissed the familiars and stood up from the boulder.

Seconds later, the girls walked over.

"Is it done? The merging of powers?" Erica asked him with an excited tone. From the looks of it, Raynor has reached another plateau of power.

In fact, he did. Before this, he was worried about having defensive powers to protect his life, but now. He doesn't care. Even if his head is severed or he was incinerated, he will simply reform.

One of the things he inherited was Cain, the Sinful God's power or, in this case, the Authority of 'cleansing'.

It's a magic art the First Kaleid blood acquired when she consumed Cain. Cain is the son of the first two Devas, Eve and Adom.

This art can alter or, more like, rewrite the very fabric of reality. This art was used to change Devas into Demons, thus allowing Humans to kill them.

With such a trump card, Raynor has become one of the strongest existence in the world.

However, he only has two familiars who listen to him, and three of the original twelve are missing!

He needs to 'drain' or 'eat' other Kaleid Blood to get the remaining familiars.

"Yes. But it's not complete. Three familiars of twelve are missing, and only two obey me properly." Raynor said with a sigh as his eyes returned to normal. He was no longer channelling his mana.

"What must you do to get the other seven to listen?" The blonde asked him.

Instead of answering, he pulled her closer to himself. There was a particular look on his face.

"Drink the blood of my ladies. Turn them into my 'girls'. They are, after all, familiars of a Vampire Primogenitor."

"... I see~~ then, as your first girl, I think it's my duty to be the first to offer myself to the great Lord~." Erica got into her role as a maiden, or more like a high-class lady who is sacrificing herself to the big bad vampire.

Raynor chuckled before moving towards her neck, as if instinct took over as he bit the blond knight.

A soft moan escaped from Erica's mouth. She felt a strange pleasure washing over her.

'I think these vampires have some strange pheromones or magic to make me feel horny like this~.'
