Part 40

Jay looked at Hyu Jin who suddenly came to his office with a questioning look. His forehead showed a degree of confusion.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Hyu Jin asked looking at Jay in surprise.

"Why are you here?" Jay asked to the point of popping the contents in his head.

"I'm looking for Stefano. He's working, isn't he today?" Hyu Jin answered Jay's question with a question. His head wandered around Jay's not-so-big office looking for Stefano's whereabouts.

"He's in his room, but why look for Fano?" Jay asked again.

Hyu Jin didn't answer right away, she looked at Jay and then snorted softly. Her head then turned to a room where Stefano was.

"That's the room, right? I'll go there first," said Hyu Jin then walked straight to Stefano's office.

Jay tries to stop Hyu Jin from going to Fano's room. Jay knows for sure that Hyu Jin will terrorize Stefano again with a no-no. Jay caught Hyu Jin's hand then made Hyu Jin stop and turn to Jay. Her face looked disapproving of being banned by Jay.

"Please don't bother Stefano anymore, he has chosen Rindi as his wife. What's more, Rindi is now pregnant," Jay said trying to stop Hyu Jin.

Hyu Jin widened his eyes looking at Jay in disbelief. Her face really looks angry, Hyu Jin slapped Jay's hand roughly then continued her way to Stefano's room. She wanted to confirm for himself that Rindi was indeed pregnant with Stefano. Jay could only sigh softly as Hyu Jin continued to force his way into Stefano's room.

Rindi was preparing lunch when her cell phone rang indicating an incoming message. Rindi wiped her hands with a tissue and then grabbed the cell phone lying beside her. Rindi opened the lock screen of her cell phone and opened the incoming message.

Rindi sighed because again it was a bank bill that was drawn directly from her account. Rindi then pressed the green button to call her aunt.

"Assalamualaikum, Auntie," said Rindi politely.

Her aunt's voice was heard on the other side. For a few minutes, Rindi chatted with her aunt. Rindi tells many things, including her pregnancy. Aunt Rindi sounded so happy, lastly, Rindi said to settle all their debts at the bank. So that aunt is not always in trouble with her finances. Rindi didn't even realize that her husband had been standing in front of her some time ago and heard all of Rindi's talk. After saying hello and hanging up the phone. Rindi sighed as she put her phone down slowly.

"Why didn't you ever tell me that you were in financial trouble?"

Stefano suddenly made a sound and shocked Rindi until she held her chest which was beating fast. Rindi looked at Stefano and then took a deep breath.

"Why did you startle me like that?" Rindi said with a groan.

Rindi then distracts Stefano by being busy cooking again.

"Why at this hour already at home? Wait 15 minutes, lunch will be ready soon," said Rindi later.

Stefano chuckled and then caught Rindi's hand about to grab a carrot. Rindi looked up and looked at her husband.

"Still want to avoid my question? You don't think of me as a husband yet? Ok! Just keep it all from me."

Stefano let go of Rindi's hand and then left the kitchen. Stefano immediately left the apartment ignoring Rindi's call. Somehow Stefano became so sensitive and angry like that. Rindi tries to chase her husband but has gone too far.

The night was getting late, and Rindi was still outside waiting for her husband to come. Several times Rindi glanced at her watch and then rubbed her arms cold the weather today is quite cold. Rindi several times looked at the parking lot hoping her husband's car was already there. But it turned out to be nothing, Rindi then reached into her jeans pocket and called Stefano.

Looks like the husband was furious, even her phone calls were ignored by Fano. Rindi took a deep breath, then Rindi held her stomach slowly.

"Hold the cold, honey, Mama is waiting for your father to come home," Rindi muttered in a monologue as if she was communicating with her baby in her stomach.

Not long after, Stefano's car was seen entering the parking area. Rindi smiled when she saw her husband had gone home. Without thinking twice, Rindi immediately ran toward the parking lot. Stefano had just got out of the car when Rindi, who was panting, clutched her chest which was tight from running.

"Ya! Why are you running around like that," Stefano said then grabbed Rindi's arms.

"What are you doing out this late?" Stefano asked again.

Rindi who had started not panting smiled and then hugged Stefano without further ado.

"I know you must be angry, that's why I'm waiting for you to come home here," said Rindi later.

Stefano could feel that his wife was cold. Even though Rindi didn't say it, Rindi's body felt cold. Stefano sighed and cursed himself, why did Hyu Jin's words at the office provoke him so easily. Hearing his wife's family's hardship alone could make Stefano angry. Stefano shouldn't have acted like that.

"Come on in! Your body is cold," said Stefano, who then released Rindi.

Stefano took off the jacket he was wearing and then put it on Rindi. Stefano smiled then pinched Rindi's cheek exasperatedly.

"Come in!"

Stefano took his wife into the apartment where the two of them lived.

Stefano covered Rindi who was already lying on the bed. It was very late at night. Stefano then stood up and was about to go to clean himself first. Even though he was just sitting there talking and consulting with Jay, his body still felt sticky.

Rindi grabbed Fano's hand quickly forbidding her husband to go. Stefano turned and furrowed his brow confusedly looking at Rindi.

"Don't be weird again, Rin! Don't suddenly cry for no reason like a few nights ago," said Stefano, who felt something was wrong with Rindi's expression now.

Rindi nodded slowly in agreement. But his hand still gripped Stefano's shirt tightly. Stefano refused to go to the bathroom. Stefano sat back on the bed and held his wife's cold hand. I do not know how long his wife was outside.

"What is it?" Stefano asked realizing that Rindi was going to say something to him.

Rindi did not immediately answer and now took a sitting position instead. Rindi smiled as she looked at Stefano. Her husband also smiled seeing his wife's good mood tonight.

"Sorry huh? Not that I want to keep my family situation a secret. But for me they are my responsibility, so as much as possible I don't want to bother anyone including you," Rindi said then started the conversation.

Stefano was still smiling then smoothed Rindi's hair slowly. Whenever Rindi spoke, Stefano always felt that his wife was amazing.

"I'm your husband, whatever your responsibility means it's also my responsibility. Tell me everything, I'll help your aunt as much as I can," Stefano said denying Rindi's words.

Rindi looked at Stefano with teary eyes, not once did Stefano fail to amaze Rindi. Stefano is always there for him, even though sometimes Rindi doesn't understand her husband's ups and downs.

"Don't cry! I told you before, didn't I?" Stefano said reminding Rindi while pointing with his index finger.

Rindi who was about to cry then laughed a little. Rindi wiped the tears that had already fallen earlier. Rindi then hugged Stefano again. Rindi hid her head in Stefano's chest.

"Don't cry, Rin!" said Fano again.

"Yes, yes, I'm not crying," Rindi said excitedly herself with her husband who was quite chatty apparently.

Stefano nodded and smiled in satisfaction. Rindi then called Fano's name slowly.

"What? Is there anything you need?" Stefano then asked.

"No, I just wanted to say. Do you know that I love you? Don't ever leave me," Rindi said, tightening her hug on Stefano.

Stefano was silent hearing Rindi's words, Stefano hugged Rindi and nodded his head. Not only Rindi felt that way, but Stefano also loved Rindi more than Rindi knew.

Elsewhere, Hyu Jin takes pictures of Rindi and Stefano's contract marriage agreement. Hyu Jin sent the photo to a number and didn't forget Hyu Jin also sent a photo of herself being hugged by Stefano at the hospital.

Hyu Jin smiled slyly after seeing her message read. Hyu Jin squeezed his phone and then put it on the bed. Hyu Jin looked straight ahead with a face full of anger.

"Just see what I can do to get you back," Hyu Jin muttered in monologue.
