Part 39

Rindi had just finished preparing to go to campus. She had left a lot of work these past few days. Finished tidying her hair tie, Rindi looked left and right looking for Stefano's whereabouts.

"Where did it go, Chan?" Rindi asked in a monologue.

Rindi took her bag and some of her books to the table. Rindi walked out of her room and Fano then.

"Want to go to school today?" Fano asked as he put down the plate that already contained his homemade sandwich.

"Why are you cooking? Artificial side dishes, Eommonim are still there, you know," Rindi said instead of answering Fano's question.

"I don't cook, just make sandwiches. Don't worry, you haven't answered my question, Rin."

Stefano stopped moving his hands and looked at Rindi. Yang smiled and nodded his head. Rindi dropped herself on the dining table chair then.

"My work has piled up," said Rindi, then took a sip of the milk Stefano had prepared.

"Are you sure you're really healthy? Poor Baby Yoon if later..."

Before Stefano finished speaking, Rindi had put her index finger on her lips, indicating that Stefano would not be noisy. Stefano glared because Rindi always told him to be quiet, even though he was worried about Rindi.

"Don't worry too much, Chan. I'm completely healthy, this is my last year. I have a lot of work to do, what's more, I have to write a thesis too, right?" Rindi said explained to Stefano.

Her husband then sat in front of Rindi. Fano sighed then put his hand on the table, Fano looked at Rindi closely.

"But the doctor said the womb must be really taken care of, and also don't let you get tired. Wouldn't it be better for you to take time off? I don't want anything to happen to you and our baby-to-be," said Stefano, still trying to remind Rindi.

Rindi smiled and then held Stefano's hand slowly. She reassured Stefano that she was completely healthy and could take care of himself.

"I promise to take care, Baby Yoon," Rindi said ending her words to reassure Stefano.

Finally, Stefano complied with Rindi's wish, but on the condition that Rindi must always take care of his health. Stefano also doesn't allow Rindi to take on a freelance translator job anymore. Rindi complied with Stefano's wish so that he would still be allowed to study.

Hyu Jin threw the thing he was holding roughly. Her face showed unbearable anger. His hand then grabbed the small frame that was on his dressing table. There is a picture of him and Stefano first, even Stefano at that time was still very thin.

"You know me, Fano_ya. If I can't get what I want, don't expect that person to get it too," said Hyu Jin in a monologue.

His face was really full of anger, Hyu Jin then threw the photo frame hard until the frame broke into pieces.

Knock...knock...Knock

There was him from outside. That's for sure Bang Hyu Sik Hyu Jin's father.

"What are you doing, Hyu Jin_a? Don't do stupid things," said Bang Hyu Sik from outside.

Hyu Jin turned his head towards the door, and a second later her expression changed. Hyu Jin's sweet lips showed a thin and sly smile.

Stefano pressed the gas pedal to increase the speed of the car. Stefano was not thinking about his own safety at this time. He wanted to quickly get to his destination now. Stefano glanced at the rearview mirror above, the atmosphere of the street which was quite busy made him quite frustrated too. Several times Stefano pressed the car horn, and Fano had no plans to press the brakes or just reduce the speed of the car. Fano is driving his car like crazy now.

Arriving at the hospital Stefano ran in without much thought. Stefano went straight to a nursing room and opened the door to the room quickly. Stefano gasped as he went inside and approached the woman lying on the bed.

"How can you do this?" said Stefano his breath which was about to break.

Hyu Jin smiled happily when she saw Stefano's arrival. Hyu Jin then took a sitting position leaning back.

"Couldn't you stop hurting yourself huh? You almost gave me a heart attack," Stefano said again nagging Hyunjin.

Instead of responding to Stefano's words. Hyu Jin just kept smiling and then grabbed Stefano's hand slowly.

"It turns out that you still care about me. I can't live without you, Fano_ya," said Hyu Jin then hugged Stefano's waist quickly.

Stefano choked, the cold man was silent now. His brain was thinking hard, what is he doing now? Sometimes he runs worriedly over to Hyu Jin. He clearly already has his wife Rindi and is also pregnant now. Realizing that Stefano quickly let go of Hyu Jin's embrace. Stefano looked at Hyu Jin in embarrassment.

"I just don't want people to die because of me, again you do stupid things like this. I really don't care anymore," Stefano said holding back anger then rushed out of Hyu Jin's treatment room.

Hyu Jin looked at Stefano's departure with a triumphant smile. Hyu Jin wiped away the fake tears he was shedding with a smile. Bang Hyu Sik then came out of the bathroom, smiling triumphantly towards his child's bed.

"You are very smart, dear," said Bang Hyu Sik.

Hyu Jin didn't respond and just smiled contentedly.

Rindi is tidying the dining table, she is preparing dinner for Stefano. Several times Rindi glanced at the clock on the wall, usually, her husband was already home at this hour.

"What, Chan is stuck in traffic? It's already this hour. He hasn't arrived yet," Rindi said in a monologue and then put the chopsticks and spoon side by side.

Rindi then walked to the table near the sofa. Rindi grabbed her cell phone and was about to call Stefano. Rindi hasn't done that yet, the sound of the door opening and a greeting then signaling Stefano has gone home. Rindi immediately approached her husband while answering Fano's greetings.

"Why come home late?" Rindi asked then took over the laptop bag that Stefano was carrying.

Stefano's face was clearly tired. The man looked at Rindi with a guilty look. He couldn't possibly say that he had just gone madly over to Hyu Jin who was trying to kill himself. Stefano rubbed his face roughly remembering his stupidity earlier.

"Are you really tired? Hurry up and have dinner first, then you'll take a shower," Rindi continued because she didn't get an answer from Stefano.

Fano's head shook, He then took his laptop bag again from Rindi's hand.

"I want to take a shower first, you just sit and wait for me. Don't do anything else, remember what I said this morning," Stefano said then left Rindi by scrambling Rindi's peak before actually leaving.

Rindi held the top of her head and her eyes followed Stefano's movements as he walked past her.

After finishing dinner together. Rindi took the time to clean the dirty dishes they had eaten. Fano grabbed his hand. Rindi looked up and turned her gaze to Stefano. Fano shook his head.

"Leave me alone," Stefano said curtly.

Rindi put down the glass she was holding. Obediently Rindi nodded her head.

"You just wait in the tv room," continued Stefano again.

Rindi nodded again then walked towards the tv room. While waiting for her husband, Rindi scrolled her cell phone slowly.

It was late at night but Rindi couldn't sleep. Rindi turned to Stefano who had been sleeping since half an hour ago. Rindi looked at Stefano's face, then shook his head.

Rindi shuffled and leaned closer to Stefano. Rindi moved the bolster that restricted them.'s sobs heard Rindi. As if he heard a loud enough alarm, Stefano reflexively opened his eyes quickly. He held Rindi's shoulder lightly, He panicked about why his wife suddenly cried.

"What are you doing, Rin?" Fano asked slightly moving Rindi's body so that Fano could see his wife's face. But Rindi again buried her face into Stefano's chest without answering her husband's question. Rindi just kept sobbing.
