Part 31

Rindi chewed her food slowly, her eyes had not left her husband's face. Rindi wondered what was bothering Fano's mind at the moment. For the past few days, Fano has been quiet and seems to be thinking about something. But you know how Rindi is, that woman will never want to pry into what's on Fano's mind. If not, the owner of the problem tells it directly.

I don't know how many times in these few minutes Fano sighed. Rindi furrowed her brows in confusion. She was sure Fano must be in trouble. Rindi was about to open her mouth to ask Fano. But unfortunately, the sound of Fano's cell phone ringing first distracted Fano from her dinner.

"Yes?" Fano said slowly and sounded reluctant.

"Eo! I'll be right there," said Fano and then ended the call.

Rindi looked at Fano as if asking where she wanted to go at nights like this on a day off from work.

"I have to meet Hyu Jin, I have something to talk to him about. Is it okay?"

To that point, Fano asked for the answer from Rindi's gaze.

Rindi's hand, which had been picking up vegetables with chopsticks, just stopped. Rindi looked at Fano. Actually, she didn't want her husband to go see another woman at night too. Fano laughed seeing Rindi's reaction and expression. Fano held Rindi's head gently.

"Don't make such an expression, or I'll cancel my departure later. Go to bed first if I haven't come home when you're already sleepy," said Fano in between laughs.

Rindi blinked her eyes to regulate her feelings that were not at the moment. Rindi nodded slowly then caught Fano's hand quickly. Rindi kissed the back of Fano's hand, Fano always felt his heart warm to receive such treatment from his wife. Fano smiled faintly then actually went to meet Hyu Jin after greeting Rindi.

Nana rummaged through her food listlessly. She has no appetite after hearing that his favorite Lecturer will be leaving university. Nana took a deep breath and then put her chopsticks on top of the noodle bowl she ordered.

Rindi, who was sitting in front of Nana and enjoying the fried rice from her house, raised her eyebrows in confusion. Rindi then drank her mineral water. A second later Rindi patted Nana's hand which was lying on the table.

"Why is your face bent like that?" Asked Rindi.

Nana looked at Rindi and then whimpered softly. His face was clear when he was sad.

"Is it because Victor is moving?" Guess Rindi who knows very well that her best friend idolizes Victor.

Nana nodded slowly then put her head on the table. Nana sighed again.

"Eottoke, Rindi_ya? What if I can't see him again?" -How- asked Nana in a sad tone.

Rindi laughed lightly then patted her best friend's hand gently. Rindi is always entertained by all of Nana's behavior, even in a sad state like this her best friend is so cute.

"Victor doesn't go to other parts of the world, Na. He's still in South Korea, it's just that he doesn't teach here anymore. We can often visit the music school he founded," Rindi said later.

Victor founded a music school in the village where he lived with his grandmother. Victor has a dream to make other people happy with music. With the thing that He likes.

Nana looked at Rindi with a surprised expression. His hand then violently smacked his forehead as if remembering something.

"Why am I so stupid? You're right, He doesn't go abroad. Besides, you're a friend's wife and also the man Victor considers his brother. So you can always take me to see him later."

Fano opened the door to his apartment and then said hello, before actually entering the apartment. His gaze wandered around the room looking for Rindi's whereabouts.

Rindi chuckled then hugged her husband warmly. Rindi rubbed the back of Fano's head gently.

"I cleaned my room, and I'm not going anywhere without asking your permission, Chan," Rindi said, still chuckling at Fano's behavior.

Fano nodded slowly. He didn't have the intention to let go of Rindi's arms yet. Not only was he afraid of Rindi disappearing again, but all the pressure Fano was going through at the office as well as from Hyu Jin was making him tired now. Hugging Rindi made Fano release the tiredness a little.

Rindi's eyebrows knit together, feeling something strange about Stefano. Her husband's hug is not like usual. Rindi forcibly released Fano's embrace and then looked intensely at Stefano. Yang looked at Rindi with a different expression. Rindi cupped Fano's cheeks gently.

"What's wrong? The trouble with your work again?" Rindi asked guessing Fano's problem.

Fano didn't answer immediately, then shook his head slowly. Fano hugged Rindi again and took a deep breath.

"Tomorrow we go to Eomma and Appa's place, okay? I want to rest for a while at their house," said Fano quietly.

Even with a lot of questions stuck in his head. Still, Rindi nodded her head at Fano's request. Maybe when she is at his father-in-law's place, this husband will want to tell Rindi the problems that Fano is experiencing now.

Fano opened his mouth wide when he saw all his friends now in front of him. Fano then looked at Rindi who was standing beside him as if asking how his friends came to be at his parents' house too. Rindi smiled and then let everyone in first, ignoring Fano's questioning gaze.

"Eat! Eat a lot, okay? This is my daugther-in-law's cooking, Uncle. Isn't it delicious? Uncle likes this chicken soup, you know," said Rindi's father-in-law and then fed a spoonful of chicken soup into his mouth.

Jay and Victor looked at each other, as did Namsuya and Jipyong. Jason and Janki just ignored Stefano's father's words. The two of them were engrossed in tasting all the food in front of them like hungry people.

This is not the first time Fano's friends have enjoyed Rindi's cooking. Because they are closer to Rindi than Fano's father knew.

Stefano himself did not touch his food he continued to look at his wife who was busy chatting with his mother all this time. Fano took a deep breath, his eyes wandered and the man looked down.

"What should I do now? If I don't obey Hyu Jin and his father, Rindi will always feel guilty. But if I obey everything, that means I will hurt Rindi."
