A deadly silence filled the courtyard as at least 300 people lined up in a single line.

not a single squeak could be heard as Eli's espionage teacher looked at the large line and nodded.

"The Sinnoh alliance had penetrated our coastal defences and is now on the island. however, don't be alarmed as a large number of elites are fighting the tougher battles uphill." He coldly said "However, a large group of Alliance are coming our way. their goal is to kill you and cripple the team galactic next generation.

Murmurs filled the formerly quiet courtyard

"They should be coming downhill at any moment. your goal is to defend them off before backup arrives." The Espionage teacher said, "You will be awarded 15GP per kill."

The discouraged crowd suddenly become bustling with life hearing the rewards. indeed, it was very attractive.

"You can do whatever you want in the next 5 minutes. you won't be buried if you die. orphaned pokemon will be dispatched to the black market or recycled to a new recruit. you understand?"

Everyone nodded.

The academy was surrounded by the large courtyard, a large chunk of forest area and then of course, the hill.

if the opponents had the high ground, it would be annoying.

thinking of an idea, the boy quickly released his three pokemon and felt some greedy stares.

indeed, he was one of the most powerful people here, and he wasn't supported by a group.

simply looking at his pokemon, the boy quickly walked to the forest, several figures following him from behind.

it seemed like his plan had worked.

climbing a tree, the boy waited for his prey.

he wanted to nip the bud for any possible threats in the battle that will be going on in just a mere 5 minutes. any back-stabbing could lead to his death, and he didn't want that.

slowly drawing out his pistol, Eli calmed his breath to see a group of three below him

"Seriously? he didn't join a group?" One boy laughed "How are we going to divide his pokemon?"

"I want dibs on the houndour" One said

"Bastard! i wanted that one!" Another hissed.

the boy looked towards beedril and nodded

Eli took aim, before firing a single round.

the bullet pierced the sky before hitting one of the boy's cheeks, causing him to hiss in pain.

Beedril shot out from the tree top, its spears lighting up in a splendid light before instantly beheading another.

"G-golett , come out!" The boy with his cheek spewing blood quickly threw out a Pokeball, revealing a small golem-like pokemon.

"Oh?" To say that Eli wasn't interested would be a lie.

it should have been brought from the Galatic market and the boy estimated that it was level 7.

Golett's final evolution was known to reach the limit a bit slower than other pokemon, but it had good hp and defences alongside high attack.

another thing about Golurk was that it never got tired unless its core ran out of energy. this gave it an advantage, not to mention it had fucking rockets for legs.

"Rollout!" The boy screamed, causing Eli to say to beedril calmy

"Make it hurt itself."

Although the speed and strength of rollout continued to grow, beedril easily dodged every time before leading it to a tree and dodging to the left.

Golett couldn't stop itself in time as it forcibly rammed itself into a tree.

it was knocked out, and Eli looked towards the last member, who had a stunky.

Beedril didn't take long to deal with him.

Eli looked towards the last remeaning two, before laughing

"Give me your GP , and ill spare your lives," Eli said to the two, who rapidly nodded and flexed their bracelets.

his account went up by 523 GP , Signifying that these were probably older students.

"Can we go no-" The boy said before a crisp bullet landed in his head

"Y-you said we could go!"

"Well , I lied." Eli smiled, before raising the gun nozzle to the boy's head and firing.

searching their body, Eli found a poison tablet, their respective guns and then their pokeballs.

Eli looked towards the unconscious golett, before wanting to do a science experiment with the golett.

Waking it up, the boy instantly produced red mist to subdue it, causing it to look calm, even though it technically didn't have any emotions.

Eli had gotten the black mist from the duskull he absorbed, which meant it had the properties of the ghost type. does that mean the mist can correspond with other ghost type pokemon, or just him

the moment he produced the mist, the Golett simply ran up and absorbed it.

although faintly, the boy saw that the Aura of Golett raised more of that of red mist.

so the mist tailored onto a specific type has a stronger effect than the red mist.

what had sparked the absorption of Duskull in the first place, however?

after consuming their bodies and leaving without a trace, the boy hummed.

some eyes realised what had happened when the three boys went missing and didn't come back but quickly shut up.

"We need to talk about our strategy-" One boy suggested before a bullet hell from above suddenly flew down the hill.

"Bronzor!" Eli screamed, causing the small gear to make a psychic barrier that could withstand the power of the bullets.

ducking into the forest at the side, a squad of men with riot shields and helmets quickly flooded down the hill and dispersed into the woods, causing Eli to look back up the hill

A thick bullet nearly hit him, causing the boy to look up in the hill and curse

"Snipers?" They really expect a bunch of 14 years old's to go against trained men." Eli sighed, before looking at Beedril, Golett, Houndour and Bronzor.

"Beedril will be responsible for Ambushes and Aerial attacks. Golurk is tasked to work together with Houndour while Bronzor provides support for all parties."

All of the pokemon nodded, causing Eli to sigh.

he could already see countless grunts getting mowed down by pokemon and guns.

It seemed like the Alliance didn't want any Loose ends.

nor did Eli.
