Mr. Wink

She sat there for a second and I was sweating like a pig. I think she noticed it because she wiped a drop of sweat off my cheek. I tensed and opened my mouth.

"Why'd you do that?" I asked.

"Well, It kinda bothered me and its better than you getting up to get a tissue." She smiled, And my heart raced.

(No Jess, You're supposed to hate her, for dad.) I thought as tried to relax.

"Class. We need a volunteer to show Ms. White around the school."

As the sentence finished, thousands of hands shot up like rockets and one of the students winked at Adyline. The teacher scanned the entire room and pointed at Mr. Wink.

"Hansuke, could you please show Ms. White around?"

"Of course, Sensei." He smiled darkly and left Adylime out the door.

"Now that we have that out of the way, we can continue our lesson on astronomy." The teacher scanned the room.

(I have a bad feeling about Hansuke.) I thought. I raised my hand slowly, and the teacher nodded.

I stood and opened my mouth."May I use the restroom, sensei?"

He eye me for a minute and then spoke."You may, Jessica."

I thanked him and walked out the door. "I've got a bad feeling about you, Mr. Wink." I mudder to myself as I run down the hallway looking for Mr. Wink and Adyline. I creep around the lockers and the doors of the multiple classes.

"Found you." I spot them near the lockers but, Hansuke is not talking, he's.... PRESSING ADYLINE AGAINST THE WALL?! I felt a sort of feeling inside me. A horrible feeling. What is this?

I hide behind some of the lockers, trying to figure out the correct time to pounce.

"I know you love me, Adyline." Hansuke says, pressing the lockers harder and harder.

"I-I don't even know you!" Adyline starts to sweat, and I get madder and madder.

"Make me your king, and we shall rule hand in hand."

"Bull crap." I whisper."You just want money you gold digger."

"N-no! I-i'm not ready to marry anyone!"

"Under-aged marriage is not illegal if you marry royalty, so what's the problem?"

"..." Adyline stops talking, as if she's given up. I crouch, thinking about the angle I will attack from. Hansuke drops slowly, and closes his eyes.

I growl and bounce, fly kicking him in the face. Adyline falls on the floor. he fell over near the lockers and I fell down next to him.

"Ow. Well, at least I didn't hit you." I sit up, coming face to face with Adyline.

"Your too close, Jessica." She grows red and immediately turns her head. I stood, and hold out my hand.

"Are you OK? Did he hurt you?"

"I'm fine, thank you." She says as she grabs my hand, and I lift her up.

"Well, let's leave him here and head back to class." I turn to walk back, but she grabs my shoulder and turns me around.

"We can't go back yet. You're injured and so is he. We have to go to the nurse." Adyline stares into my eyes and we stay like that for a second.

"I assure you I'm fi-."

Adyline losens her grib on my shoulder and frowns.

"You will go to the nurse with me and this male and get treated, princess' order!" She points at my face.

"A-alright I'll go." I tense. "You're scary when your mad."

She reaches her hand and grabs mine. "We have to hurry. The bells gonna ring. How are we going to carry him there?"

"We'll drag him. I mean, That's what he deserves for trying to kiss you."

"Y-yeah. I plan to save my first kiss for someone else." She stares at the floor and smiles.

"Who's the 'someone else'?" I question and notice Adyline's starting to sweat.

"Ohoho! You don't even know her." She laughs nervously.

"So its a 'she'?"

Adylines eyes widen. "Yes, I mean no, I mean.... baka!"

"Wow OK. Calling me an idiot, just like the old days,ai?" I look over at Hansukes spot, and my eyes widen.

"He's gone."

Adyline stares behind me.

"What's wrong?" I ask as I feel something cold and hard hit my neck. My eyes widen, and I turn around to see Hansuke. With a gun.

"Where did you get the gun from?!" I ask, falling to the floor, holding my neck.

"It was on my pants the whole time. Gotta keep it close in case I run into idiots like you."

(My sights getting kind of blurry.)

"Why do you have a gun on school grounds?!" Adyline screams in anger.

"Because princess, It's complicated." He winks but Adyline doesn't react. Instead, she faces me with a worried expression.

"Ugh, Ady... I fe-" I feel myself fall over and hit my head on the floor. My eyes are still open and the last thing I see Adyline running to me crying, before everything goes black.
