Romell helped Dormon to his haunches. Darla kept looking into the direction in which Marmon had left. "Darla – y", Gilly was starting to say something, but Darla snapped out of her thoughts and sat in front of Dormon. His face was swollen on one side, where Marmon had punched him. His gums seemed loosened and the area under his eyes was purple. She sighed at his appearance and raised her fingers to touch his face. Dormon winced as he got away from her touch. But Brain held him in position, "Stay calm Dormon! She is trying to help." He looked around at everybody's face. All of them were calm and surrounded him while shielding him from the harsh sunrays of the noon. Darla touched Dormon's face at places he was hurt. The pain eased gradually and Dormon's eyes closed with relief. Darla took Dormon's hands in hers. She looked at the wounds on his wrist. Dormon tried to pull away, but Darla didn't ask any question and held them with a steady force. She touched along the red lines where the shackles had left their mark. The redness was gone.

"You are a healer!" Dormon was surprised. He had never seen a werewolf with that power. Darla didn't respond to that.

"Have patience young one! She is a lot many things than she lets on." Emora patted his head lovingly and gave a big cheerful smile. Still looking at Darla, Dormon asked, "But what just happened, can anybody please explain me?"

All of them looked at one another. Romell struck his palm over his forehead, "Dude, you have an awful lot to learn about infinity pack! Our Darla here is the Alpha Randulf Honorheir's daughter. And that monster that hit you into pulp was Marmon Elfkeep, Alpha's best friend's son. Marmon has kind of a forever crush on Darla and thinks that she is his mate. Now with your PDA today, one of his dogs must have informed him about it. Whatever happened now was just first glimpse of the trouble you have called upon yourself. The real trouble is about to come, when Marmon will tell Darla's brothers, Irving and Fergon, about your little encounter with Darla."

"Oh!" Dormon could only say that, and he pulled out the grass near his feet while processing the information in his head. He had no other orders from Time except for befriending Darla. Yet he kept on thinking in his head about what might be his next course of action. Although he had agreed to do Moon Goddess's bidding, he wanted to be well prepared in advance. "So, like Darla, except for being werewolves all of you have some special powers?" At Dormon's question there was no confirmatory answer from anyone.

"Well, it is not common for all of our pack members. It is only we five that do these extra stuffs, and we very much stick together among ourselves only. Other kids call us the Fantastic five. We believe something bigger is planned for us." Gilly explained while pushing the glasses above her nose.

"You can do extra stuffs as in?"

To satisfy Dormon's curiosity Darla answered, "Brian can read minds, like he can predict one's thoughts and feelings. Romell can control all elements – air, water, earth and fire. Gilly can see through anybody's life – past, present and future. Emora is not just the best fighter, she is the best war machine anyone has ever possessed. And I am a healer, I can heal both body and mind."

Dormon's jaws were actually hanging by the time Darla was done. He had never imagined werewolves to be so powerful. He had murdered wolves since he had been a teenager and none of them possessed such powers. He wondered which werewolf he was to hunt on this mission and prayed that he should not possess such powers as those kids. His life was very much dear to him, and he did not intend to sacrifice it. Amidst all those thoughts, another fear came to his minds. He looked at Brian and Gilly. Why hadn't they said anything about him yet? They must have read his thoughts and known about his life. But they sat there quiet. Dormon finally asked, "Then, Brian – can you read my thoughts as well?" Brian and Gilly exchanged cautious looks. Romell laughed from behind them.

"What happened?" Dormon asked.

"They have been talking about that in their heads. They can know nothing about you. Brian can't see inside of your head and Gilly can't see anything of your past, present or future. She is also not able to see you in any of our futures either." Dormon on one hand was relieved that the kids were having a future ahead of them but on the other hand he was worried that he didn't have one. The answer got him confused. "They were also telling you smell like human – that too very delicious!" All others looked over at Romell angrily while Dormon laughed loudly.

Dormon felt Gilly's scrutinizing gaze bore a hole into his head. "There might be a lot more to train for myself and Brian considering that we can't see through you. But we can read almost every member in the pack. So, is there some trouble particularly with you?" Dormon's face paled a bit at Gilly's question.
