Chapter 2 : The Academy

The Academy is quite large and is comprised of several buildings with the giant sign with the kanji for "fire" (火) on it.

The doors of the academy were crowded on this first day of January, parents accompanied their children to the school gates with some with tears in their eyes and others with a big smile on their lips and among them there was a young boy with short blue hair.

"Be polite in class."

"Yes mom."

"Be nice to me don't bully your classmates and make friends."

"Yes mom."

"Good luck son."

"Thank you, father."

"Good luck big brother!"

"Thanks little sugar."

"Don't call me that!"

Miyagawa laughed and greeted her parents one last time before entering the academy.

"Miyagawa you forgot your bento."

He immediately stopped at the word of his mother behind him and ran to pick up his lunch with a slight smile before thanking his mother and returning to the school grounds.

"He's growing up so fast."

Kida sighed wistfully making his wife smile next to him as she looked at Miyagawa in the crowd of children entering the academy.

. . . . ..

"Welcome to the academy, from now on you are students of this institution, you will learn in the next years..."

"It's already been six years."

Moyagawa sighed in the courtyard of the academy as he looked at the smiling thin middle-aged man wearing long red and white clothes on the stage in the distance.

It was six years ago that he, a man who died at the hands of his own brother, found himself in a world that was familiar.

The world of Japanese comics, Naruto.

"A new life..."

He raised his head and seeing the clouds in the blue sky, he had a slight smile, a loving family but a cruel world.

This world frankly scared him, made him excited and also curious.

"I hope that all of you will be able to honor your predecessors and receive the will of the fire to your and pass it on to the generation."

At the end of the man's speech, everyone began to applaud, and about ten minutes later the new students were taken to their classes by their teachers.

"I don't see any people in the work, there are only extras like me."

Miyagawa, who entered the classroom, looked at his classmates with slight disappointment, then under the supervision of the teacher, everyone took their seats.

His neighbor at the table however was interesting, he wore bandages around his forehead and had long brown hair as well as pure white eyes, he looked at him for a moment before nodding in his direction as a sign of greeting to which he replied with a smile.

"Hello, my name is Arashi Genjo, I will be your teacher during this year, in order to get acquainted with your classmates please introduce yourselves respectively from the firstanger to the last."

Miyagawa looks at the stern-faced young man in front of him for a moment before looking at his classmates who start introducing him one by one.

"My name is Katayama Tsuneo, I am 5 years old this year, I like...."

My name is Kitani Nanao I am six years old I like flowers and my dream..."

"I'm Doi Sojuro, i ...."

Finally it was the turn of Miyagawa's tablemate.

"My name is Makino Hyūga I am five years old, my hobby is training."

A concise introduction that slightly lowered the enthusiasm of the children present then it was Miyagawa's turn.

"My name is Takahashi Miyagawa, I am six years old, I don't have many hobbies but I have a dream, my dream is to protect those I love."

The teacher, Arashi was slightly surprised by this presentation, he had heard many things from the students he received in the past years like becoming a jonin, becoming a powerful ninja and even some wanting to become a hokage but this was the first time he heard a child say such childish yet mature words making him smile slightly.

"It's a beautiful dream Miyagawa."

Arashi said with a smile on his stern face surprising the students a bit including Miyagawa then the rest of the students introduced themselves one by one.

Maybe it was because of Miyagawa's words, but more and more students were talking about their dream of protecting my village and their friends and relatives, making the teacher smile more and more, and his stern face returned only after everyone had finished introducing themselves.

"Very well now I will want your silence and all your attention your lesson today will be the chakra."

"Who of you already knows how to refine and use your chakra?"

At Arashi's words the whole class remained silent except for Makino Hyūga who raised her hand.
