Family Reunion

After a night of not coming home, Rudy had previously attempted suicide by overdosing on drugs, but now he has fully recovered. After undergoing treatment at the hospital. And returned home with Rudy's face looking red and glassy after he mourned the death of his close friend Timmy. However, this time he was not alone. Rudy was accompanied by a police officer who came in front of his house.

"This is your house?" Asked jack.

"Yes *sob*" Rudy replied.

Jack knocked on the wooden door.

Rudy and Jack turned their heads back to the voice.

"That's right, I wanted to tell you that Rudy will be taken to the rehabilitation, treatment, and research center in Sanctuary, and this is mandatory."

"So he can't go home yet? I guess that makes sense he still needs treatment"

"Exactly and the government of the city will do further research on Rudy and his oddities because we don't know if he is cured, how he can survive and fully recover quickly, or how his legs can come back again"

"I understand officer, could he stay for a while we have to attend the funeral of our friend Timmy"

"Alright, Rudy can go to the Sanctuary himself, if he doesn't come he will be picked up by personnel from the Sanctuary"

Redfield's Memorial Park, The sky was covered with thick gray clouds that seemed to reflect the mood of the mourners. The sound of crying and whimpering filled the air, while the scent of freshly cut flowers was mixed with the smell of damp earth and the impression of a grave. The mood was somber and heavy as if the world had slowed down to acknowledge the loss.

The funeral procession was slow and somber as they made their way to the cemetery. The coffin wrapped in a simple white cloth was carried by a group of bearers whose faces were grim. Rudy could hear the cries of Timmy's mother and father, as well as the cries of his other friends.

As they reached the cemetery, Rudy couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sadness. He knew that his friend had gone too soon and he would never see him again. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he watched the coffin being slowly lowered into the ground, his heart heavy with sadness.

When the ceremony was over, Rudy stood for a moment again, staring at the freshly dug grave. He felt a sense of loss and sadness, but also deep gratitude for the time he had spent with Timmy. He would always remember him, and the memories they shared would always be a part of him.

Before Rudy went home, he went straight to Timmy's mother.

"Mrs. Turner, I'm so sorry about what happened to Timmy"

"*Sniffs and wipes away tears* Rudy! Haven't seen you in a while, you look so Skinny?"

"A lot has happened to me this year. I know you're still sad about what happened to Timmy, but can I ask you something about Timmy?"

The service was over, and everyone had gone home. Rudy in his room had cleaned up his room and thrown away his trash along with the needles he had used. in his room, he had put his clothes on and slipped the knife he had bought before returning home after mourning at the cemetery. the knife looked very sharp and also strong, judging from its shape this knife was not a knife for cutting vegetables but a knife for chopping wood as usually carried by scouts.

Rudy came down from his room and started dinner.

At the dining table, Rudy and his mom started eating.

After Rudy washed the dishes he took his suitcase and belongings to the car and they left for Sanctuary.

Rudy arrived at Sanctuary with a heavy heart sighed and looked at the building in front of him.

Rudy looked back at his mother and hugged her.

"I promise I will come back as someone you can proud of."

"I know, when you are in uncertainty always remember we are always there for you son"

"I will reorganize my life and return to my normal life again"

They released their hug.

"Don't forget to eat and see you later"

Rudy nodded his head and started walking to the Sanctuary building.
