The Chef x The Movie Emperor

Nix's P.O.V.:

*** Solaris is thinking about the incident that was the last chapter. But you should get the gist of it it with this oversimplification, Solaris is worried about Nix because of how he reacted to his own past trauma in the last omegaverse or A/B/O world they were in. He rescued a little omega boy one who was being SA by a grown alpha. Phoenix had a PTSD attack and ended up turning the alpha into a eunuch but did get the child to safety and the child did not see what Phoenix did to the alpha as he was in his right mind enough to take care of the child first. ***

Solaris can still remember how violently Phoenix had reacted, in one of the Omegaverse or A/B/O worlds after initially breaking free, when he stumbled across alpha assaulting a little omega boy no older than six. His sweet Mama Phoenix who is typically a cold and distant but still a gentle person, but that day... Solaris shuttered as the image of his master covered in blood, sweat, tears and gray matter, next to the man's body or what was left of it.

That day Solaris realized that despite his master always appearing to be ok, he is absolutely not ok. He also realized that though his master is typically a very gentle despite his cold appearance he also has a sadistic side that is just waiting for the moment it can be unleashed against those who put him through all this. Solaris lit a candle in his heart because there is a chance that even the heavens will no longer remain once Phoenix gains his memories and power back.

'Even a rabbit will viciously fight back if it is cornered and it's life threatened,' Solaris thought to himself. He does not blame Phoenix at all and if he could have, he would have done something similar too.

Solaris snapped out of his thoughts and decided it was best to check on his Mama and see how he was doing with all this. He was rightfully concerned so he tentatively asked through their shared mind link. 'Mama Phoenix, are you alright? How are you doing knowing we are back in an Omegaverse or A/B/O world?'

Phoenix could tell Solaris was concerned about him and he was momentarily unsure why until he remembered that incident the last time, he was an omega in an Omegaverse.

'I am ok Solaris, well I will be. Anyways this time it is different, and it does not seem like they have the same views on omegas in this world... so I should be fine. Besides I have been going to therapy in every world since then just as you asked, and I have made healthy progress. I promised you I would let you know when I feel a certain way and that I won't hide it when I am overwhelmed. Trust is a two-way street, so have some faith in me, believe in me... trust me, ok? '

Solaris was a bit taken back, did Mama Phoenix really think he did not trust him? Of course, he trusts and believes him, or he would not be working this hard to help him heal if he did not fully trust and believe in him! He knows that his Mama Phoenix was capable of great feats that he only needs to heal, gain his power and memories back and... well anyways he will think about that later. The point is he is fully in Phoenix's corner and needs him to understand that!

-Solaris - 'Of course I do, it hurts that you question that, but I do understand. I just worry because I truly care about you Mama! One of the things I want the most is for you to regain your memory and gain soul power and not because of any reason then that is what I want for myself. I also want it for you, but I want you to be happy and whole again. I need to see that with my own eyes.'

-Phoenix - 'Alright, calm down sweetie, I believe you. I was just explaining that trust is a two-way street, not just young phoenix dragons can forget that we all can and do at one point or another. But it is ok as long as they remember and fix it. Now, can you tell me about the original owner of this body and everything regarding why I was allowed to take it over so I know what I am working with and form some kind of plan on how I can begin to right the wrong done to the body's original host as well as fulfil their wish?'

-Solaris - 'Sir, yes, sir, right away.'

-Phoenix - 'Careful now Solaris being a smartass is not always a good thing you have to know the right timing or else you go from cute and funny to an asshole who no one wants to be around or like. This time was ok because it was cute, appropriate and it did cheer me up, so thank you for that.'

Solaris was bashful not only because his Mama said he made him feel better but also because he felt like he was reprimanded for saying something he should not have even if his Mama told him, it was alright. He knows that Phoenix is trying to guide and teach him how to be a good person or even a good phoenix dragon so he will listen to his Mama Phoenix's guidance. 

Phoenix could tell Solaris was feeling a bit bashful. It made him smile and gently shake his head.

Solaris maybe over 22 thousand years old but he is the equivalent of a three-year-old or four-year-old at most. Most days he cannot help but think Solaris still feels like a toddler in many ways but then he is wise and has both seen and experienced at lot just in the time they have been together. He can infer that time and age move differently for phoenix dragons.

'Heavens please help me if I ever meet his parents that they do not kill me for teaching their child a bunch of bad things! Nope, do not go there, Nix! It will be ok, you did not ruin Solaris, yes, he has seen and experienced too many things that a little one should not but that was not your fault, nor did you know about him being a baby because he has never come off as one! All you can do now is try and teach him to be a good person well in his case a phoenix dragon, but wait do they go by the same moral standards? ...I'll have to think about and analyze this all later. I, freaking zoned out again! I need to make more of my Anti-ADD potion up as this last one is wearing off. Now back to finding out about this body and its situation.'

Snapping out of his daydreaming, Phoenix returned his attention to Solaris while he took a seat under the wisteria tree, to give himself a bit of privacy while it he received this body's information from Solaris.

Once comfortable, Phoenix asked for Solaris to continue, using their mind link. Images began to flood his mind as Solaris sent him all the information he had on this body. His brows furrowed due to the migraine like pain that assaulted him. He found this was the best way to get all the information ensuring nothing was accidentally overlooked by Solaris but damn it hurt like a bitch. 

He gritted his teeth to get through it then focused to sort through the information he received.

This body is named Beyol Bong Tae-Hwan, he is a twenty-one-year-old omega, a student in university student in his final year of culinary school.

He recently got a big break when he applied and got accepted to compete in a new variety show pairing up and coming chefs with celebrities and they have to teach each other their trades.

He landed a spot on a new variety show that revolves around a celebrity being paired with a culinary arts student or up and coming chef who has to teach them how to prepare certain dishes, deserts and drinks. They also have to teach them how properly plate them as well.

The celebs will then have to compete using all the knowledge and skills they learned to showcase what they learned. They will be graded on appearance, is it cooked correctly, taste, the skills and abilities used to make it as well as if their work area is clean and tidy or not.

The chefs will have to learn how to properly act and will have to recreate a few famous scenes and then a completely original skit as well as a photo shoot. They will be judged on a tight grading scale as the winner will be offered a role in an upcoming film by a famous director and producer, as well as a contract offer from Moonbeam Entertainment.

The other part of the show is a competition between just the chefs as they compete to win a job as the executive sus chef in The Capitals Finest New Three MICHELIN Stars Restaurant. ***

'Holly shit, now I get why this is such a big deal, ok, ok, I think I can definitely do this! I can cook and I am a master at acting! If I combine my knowledge with that of the body, I should have this in the bank if everything goes smoothly.' Phoenix was not trying to come off as arrogant, but he did.

When Beyol Bong Tae-Hwan got the star message that he had been chosen to join the show he was so excited. Because if he managed to win this competition, he could not only help take care of his family but possibly get his own cooking show which is his dream.

He has had a secrete love of acting for a long time now, but he never said anything to his family because he knew if he did, they would do everything to help him achieve that dream, but he knows they need him here.

But if he had his own show then he could combine his two loves and support the family. He would still be able to work some shifts are the family restaurant and all the exposure will just help the family business grow. 

He went full of excitement and buzzing nerves, that he could not quite tell were about. Once he got the studio and met with the producer's assistant and signed all the paperwork, he was introduced to the producer and the director.

They informed him that the pairing would be random and to pick a random number and color, so he picked the first number and color that came to his mind. After that they led him to another room to meet the celebrity that he would be paid with.

To his complete amazement and surprise, he found out he had been paired with none other than The Movie Emperor Choi Yongbok. He is a dominant alpha who is also known as the movie emperor not just because he plays an emperor a lot, or because of his peerless acting skills but because of his status as a D.A., dominant alpha.

Choi Yongbok is considered untouchable and since everyone, man, woman, alpha, beta and omegas alike want to be with him, so his stans call themselves his harem, which Choi Yongbok does not like but it does not stop his many, many, many stans.

Though Choi Yongbok has a sunny, easy going and all-around golden boy image and considered to be the empire's boyfriend/husband.

Despite Choi Yongbok's on and in front of the camera image he has established he is actually a cold and distant man. He does not like people to come close or to touch him as he struggles with mysophobia.

He has never had a partner and keeps his record clean. He is friends with some of his coworkers in the industry, but he is never seen in a public setting casually with anyone other than his family.

Despite the fact that Choi Yongbok is an actor and the top in the industry he also has his PhD. in business with second Ph.D. in Engineering, a master's in psychology, he holds black belts in Tae kwon do, Taekkyon, Kuk Sool Won, Hapkido, Kung Fu Wushu and Kendo. He has also developed his own style as well and is undefeated in these martial arts competitions. 

-Phoenix - 'Ok I get it, he is a cold hearted, bad ass, who is not just insanely intelligent but also has the looks of a god, but he remains single because he is a germaphobe. Gottcha, ok did I miss anything before moving on?' 

-Solaris - ... (＞﹏＜) 'Yeah that about sums him up...'  (/ω＼) 'I am so sorry...'

 Beyol Bong Tae-Hwan is the second to the youngest of Beyol Shin and Tae Eun-Kyung He is the only omega in a family of betas. He has three siblings; he is the second to the youngest. His parents are middle class hardworking, honest, humble, law-abiding, restaurant owners, who started from a roadside stall. His oldest sibling is a salaryman, his sister went to culinary school in the capital and worked at a few major restaurants before coming back and works at the family restaurant, while his baby brother is still in high school. 

-Solaris - 'Ok so that is the information about the body and his family. As well as the original owner's situation. Good news is we are only at the point where Beyol Bong Tae-Hwan has received his star message letting him know he has been chosen and the information about the appointment to come and sign paperwork and meet the staff. We have time to get a head of everything that happened in the original timeline. Speaking of which we should go over that part too?'

Phoenix wanted to be a smart ass and ask him "Yeah, ya think?" but he won't do that as Solaris is already getting more and more sassy and he does not want to ruin him and turn Solaris in to an asshole by teaching him bad things, so he just simply replied...
