Quick side note, i had “made” this novel but had never actually written anything. I don’t like the fact that i can’t delete this entirely so i decided to have a little fun. I cant remove it from the contest and you cant delete novels completely so I’m stuck with it i suppose. Also, i always end up disliking my work(i’m kind of a perfectionist and i’m not that experienced when it comes to writing), so i will warn you that i may end up burning out. ~ • ~ • ~ The world as we know it is made up of hundreds of thousands of small particle sized elements. Their number is ever increasing as is their verity but it wasn’t always like that. No, before the world took on a physical form their was only four elements that, quite literally, sparked the flames of evolution. They all formed at the exact same time due to the same event... the formation of Sol and its subsequent split, isolation, whatever you want to call it from the void. So lets take a couple millions steps back and experience what is known as the birth of our every world. ~ • ~ • ~ Release schedule will heavily depend on my motivation levels, just a little heads up.
The ever expanding void, known for its unique ability of devouring any and all that enters it's every gaping maw.
Its not every day that a young fool throws themselves into the void and even more rare is for one such fool to survive, or how should I say this, somewhat survived.
This young fool's name was Sol, an apprising deity hoping to rise to fame and fortune by surviving the void. The fool had barely survived a few seconds before he was ripped apart piece by piece on a molecular level.
He screamed and struggled to go back but the void wasn't known for it's friendliness. But the poor fool isn't what I'm talking about, no, it's what was left behind by the poor fool.
A soul so unique, so one of a kind, somehow survived the deterioration of the void and drifted within.
The soul was a one of a kind anomaly, it's very existence defied all logic. And yet their is drifted, a small transparent golden orb amiss within the pitch black that was the void.
But it was not yet done defying the worlds logic, far from it in fact. Within the soul four small particles, each a different color swirled around each other. Their actions caused a stir, the soul that acted as both a prison and protection cracked.
The void seeped into the soul trying to erode it from the inside but the four particles had something else in mind.
The sucked in the trickling void like a dry sponge and after a few short moments their size easily doubled.
With their new size they continued to swirl around each other, forming a small storm within the soul. Any void that seeped in would be drawn into the swirl before being absorbed by the four particles.
The soul struggled to stay together, but the force of the four from the inside and the pressure from the void outside caused cracks to form all along the soul.
Void surged into the soul only to be absorbed by the four. But everything didn't go smoothly, the soul burst into flames and the void around it was pushed back.
The soul continued to burn but inside the space only grew larger. After a few short minutes the space inside the soul was ginormous, and it was still growing too.
The four looked at all the space dazed, how had something like this happened?
