ELLIS' POV
Three days had passed by and there's still no texts and calls from Eros. Is he that busy? I mean, I just need one call or a text that says that he's doing fine. I just need an assurance that he's safe and still cares for me.
"Why are you pouting? Did he not reply yet?"
Xen Li asked as soon as she sits beside me in our classroom. "Then I guessed he didn't."
"Isn't that hard to not contact me at all?"
"He's in college, Ellis. He's busy and he will be on his own in the future, he's being independent or maybe he has some part-time job to work at."
"Part-time job? I don't think he needed that."
"It depends. But knowing your brother, he might have applied to a part-time job to sustain his needs." Xen Li explains, "Or..."
"Or what?"
"Or he already has a girlfriend."
"You're kidding, right? He wouldn't do that."
"Or a boyfriend?" She teases.
"Stop. He won't have that. I trust him."
