MISSED CALLS

ELLIS' POV

Until now, I am observing his gestures, facial expressions, his voice, and even his sentences. What's with this Pierre guy that everyone admires? He's just like everyone else, he's a human too. There's no extraordinary about him except...

"Ellis, I like you."

... except that he likes someone like me. Okay, but I am not some kind of unique person or something that must be flexed to. I am ordinary too but in my own little thing.

"How many times do you need to say that?"

"A million times?" He smiles and takes a bite of his chocolate cake.

"You're crazy." 

"I am... for you." 

I took a sip on the iced chocolate na he treated me, and he chuckles. "You're cute, Ellis. And I think you are blushing now."

I almost spill out the chocolate drink but luckily not, "S-stop that. Stop with your um, with your words. Remember, I didn't agree to anything you said."
