Chapter 2.9 - THE MAN

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW:

"SLEEP I NEED, SLEEP YOU MAY"

Immediately as those words exit his mouth, Xavier crashes to the ground falling unconscious.

The man walks in front of him, hovering over his body...

With a fascinated look, he bends down to touch him, but before he could, Amos pushes the door open...

"GET AWAY FROM HIM" he shouts as he walks in defensively...

The man stands up-while giving Amos a scary grin and begins walking closer to him...

Amos quickly shoots a black blade from his hand, but before it could reach the man, he vanishes...

As Amos looks around the room cautiously, he runs to Xavier...

He lifts Xavier's head into his arms while calling for Cassius-his friend who's a doctor...

"CASSIUS!!!"

A few seconds later, Cassius comes sprinting into the room...

"What happened?"

"It was him"

"Holy hell"

"Hurry up and get him on the bed," Cassius says while quickly walking to the side of the bed.

A LITTLE WHILE LATER:

After observing Xavier, he realizes that Xavier's under a sleeping that would take a few hours to wear off...

"He's under a sleeping spell, before you ask, yes he will wake up, and it will only take a few hours"

Amos looks at him with an annoyed look, knowing that Cassius answered his questions.

"I still don't understand, how could he call up that much energy?" Cassius ask

"I don't know but it's not the first time he did that, and I don't think he knows anything about magic"

"What?"

After Xavier killed all the crew, he called for help, luckily Cassius works there and he's a doctor...

He checked Xavier but didn't find anything other than the fact that he became weak due to the amount of energy or in other words magic, he called upon, which is an impossible amount of magic.

So Cassius didn't know when Xavier would wake or if he would wake up, until now...
