Chapter 2 - HELP ME

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW:

Xavier woke up to a reeking smell, as the smell settles in, he instantly rushes to his foot, only to find himself surrounded by bars- they were rotten as if it's been there for a long time. He looked around seeing other prisoners sitting in other cells staring at him, suddenly he starts fighting with the cell door but It wouldn't budge...

(BACKSTORY)

The reason he's panicking is because he's claustrophobic.

Xavier was a curious child when he was young, some would say too curious. That became true when one day he was walking from school and saw a cat, like any curious child he followed it, only to find a man standing in front of him - he was tall and wide wearing full black. Suddenly he tried to grab him but missed, Xavier ran but his small legs couldn't outrun the man, so he was caught and trapped in a small cage, but it was big enough for him to fit, it was as if the man knew he would be there. That was the first time he ever used his powers, as the man started walking with him, he fell unconscious and woke up in front of his mom's house, even though it was a brief experience, it always left a mark on him even with little memory of it.

PRESENT

XAVIER'S POINT OF VIEW:

"PLEASE LET ME OUT," I said banging on the cage

"They're not gonna hear you," a man said.

I look to my side to see a man - his hair and eyes are brown, I mean eye, there was a patch cover over the left one. His skin was dirty, I could tell he was here for a while now, I could also tell by his ripped clothes.

"No... They have to" I said falling to the ground with tears streaming down my eyes

"ThEy...HaVe....tO"

"Breaking down won't get you out of here"

"Why do you care, you don't even know me"

"I can tell you don't belong here even if your wearing crazy clothes"

"CLOTHES, my phone is in my clothes"

"Fone?"

Without responding to him I pull out my phone from my pocket, only to find that it has no signal...

"SHITTT!!!!!" I screamed

Suddenly a guard strides in, I jump to my feet turning to him, hiding my phone in my pocket...

"Get me out"

"Shut up demon" he shouted

"Do I look like a fucking demon, you idiot" I replied feeling as the anger boils inside me

As those words exit my mouth his face turns furious, he opens the door and grabs me.....

"Let him go," the man said while standing up

But he keeps pulling me, ignoring the man

"Where are you taking me? LET ME GO!!" I shouted

He turns around, his face looking as if it was about to explode, and he slaps me...

I fall to the ground...

"Ouch"

As the man grabs me and yanks me up, I feel something inside me explode...

Everything turns red and all I could think about was hurting him...

A golden mist comes out of my hand and into his skin.

He releases my hand gasping in pain but then as if someone else took over my body...

I put my hand on his head and RIPPED IT OFF...

As the anger vanishes, everything slowly returns to normal color, I realize that I wasn't fazed or shocked but instead smiling. I look around to see all the prisoner staring at me with a shocked expression, except for the man, he just clapped with a grin on his face.

Ignoring him I turn to walk out...

"HEY, there are more guards"

I turn around, walking to his cell...

"What"

"Let me out"

"Why would I do that?"

"Like you, I was wrongfully imprisoned, and plus I could help you escape"

I wasn't sure but I didn't know where I was, so I walk over to the guards' bleeding corpse and pull the key out of his pocket.

I turn his cell lock and it opens, as he's coming out he takes the key from my hand and opens all the prisoners' cell doors one by one...
