Paige raised her eyebrows but ignored it. It seemed that Meier was an often-seen guest here. Thinking back on her conversations with Lance, he hadn't mentioned anything about Meier besides her having asked.

It wasn't that important; she would ask Meier about it over the weekend.

It was already Thursday so that it wouldn't take much longer.

Lance sulked from being ignored, but was his usually annoyed self again when they were in the car. This time, they rode the vehicle alone, Jace taking another one.

Lance smirked at that; he wanted to make out, but Paige gave a pointed look toward the driver, and Lance sulked again.

He would have just risen the privacy screen, but Paige swatted his hand away from the button.

Making him even more sulky.

When they arrived, it rained heavily, perfectly mirroring Lance's feelings. He cursed a few times before taking the umbrella. At least they could walk together under it, as he only had one with him.
