Sanemi sighed as he headed back to the wind estate, the meeting with the mast was now over and now he could rest, that was until he heard the sickly-sweet demonic tone Shi used on her victims. "tick… " the wind was loud and you could barely hear it but Sanemi knew from the breath which was blowing on the base of his neck, the sound going into his ear- that Tomioka Shi was right beside him. "Tock."
And then she was gone, leaving a shivering hashira behind with a deadly warning which didn't want to fade out of his memory anytime soon. He needed to apologize to Tomioka Giyuu and quickly otherwise, his life was on the line.
******
He slammed the door to the water estate open and gulped, the water pillar, innocent and oblivious to what his sister was doing was standing in the kitchen, a pot on the stove and a demon's leg on a chopping board, he was preparing Shi's food for her next solo mission. Giyuu looked up and hummed, the adorable smile on his face disappeared.
"Do you need anything Shinazugawa-san?" His voice was as cold as it was normally, it just had a slightly annoyed tone to it. He clearly didn't want the wind pillar to interrupt his cooking session, Giyuu went back to cutting up the demon's leg to throw in the soup he was making, Sanemi had to hold back a gag.
"I came here to apologise." Giyuu froze, picked up the demon's flesh and dumped it into the soup, drying his hands and leaning on the counter, raising a brow. Sanemi's mind drifted for a bit, Giyuu currently looked like one of those really hot single dad's.. He shook his head.
"About what? The bullying?"
"About everything, the bullying, the teasing and for trying to kill your sister."
Giyuu smiled and hummed "you're forgiven, if you try this." he pointed to the soup behind him.
"I-" with a sigh he sat down "fine.."
